Good clean hotel
5 / 5
We walked to hotel from Waverley Rail station was 30 min walk. Get a taxi if got cases and bags. Lovely walk otherwise to Princes street.
Can walk to town centre by side of river through Leith Gardens. Lovely walk.
Hotel staff were quick to book us in.
room was lovely, big, clean, tea coffee milk biscuits. Shower, hair and soap in bathroom.
Shower curtain was spotlessly clean. Lovely big soft towels.
We were overlooking the river which was nice.
We had a very pretty lounge next to our room.
Staff were very friendly and on hand for any questions or replenishment of room stuff. Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that but smelt lovely when walking through main lobby.
Would recommend this hotel, if able to walk okay but if unsteady on feet you would need to get a taxi ( plenty about) as hotel is down a very steep curvy road from main road to hotel at side of river.
