Dalmahoy stay 1 night family room.

Lots of parking and comfortable beds. Rooms spacious and clean. We did have to queue for 20 minutes to get in for breakfast but it was good quality once we got in. Food in the brasserie was ok for dinner. We didn’t use the leisure facilities but they looked good. There is a games room but some of the equipment and room itself could do with updating.

I was angry that the room 144 had a radiator issue,an easy fix by tapping a dirty internal valve.We were told it would be fixed whilst we were out on our second day ,on our return it hadn't been rectified and at 10:30 at night we were given an alternative room.l don't blame any staff member,just that there was an issue known about because the next door room was kept free in case the issue still occurred.

Terrific place for a Scottish visit

Fabulous venue. The whole place is immaculate. Car park is perfectly located and safe. The plentiful staff from concierge to room cleaners were helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, good Wi fi, quiet and plenty of hot water in bath/shower when needed. The breakfasts were amazing from fruit, cereals, cold meats to the full Scottish available by buffet, with as much tea as you want. The Pentland restaurant serves imaginative food of the highest quality. The bar was cosy serving a large variety of beers, wines and spirits. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to return next year.

We loved our stay at the Dalmahoy this October. We had a four day holiday with a baby and toddler and had a nice, relaxing time thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel. We had a superior double room which had plenty of space for two cots and still some. It was comfortably warm (during a storm too), but perhaps on the warmer side. We could hear noise on either side of our room but never enough to be distruptive. We had dinner at the Brasserie which suited our young family well. Lovely food, childrens meal and a very nice amount of space between tables. Service was slow but friendly. As we find everywhere, we would have loved a more varied children's choice with some vegetables but it was normal and expected. The pool was a nice size, warm, had toys for the children and good changing facilities. The outdoor play area was lovely and we had a very nice walk around the grounds when the storm cleared. An excellent stay, we'll certainly be back!
