Edinburgh Trip

The room was clean and the check-in was very easy. Great shower! My only issue is that I own a business and there wasn't any place, other than the bed, where I could set up my laptop computer. Having said that, we would stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay - safe, quiet and has its own unique charm. There was no desk in the room, so it was a bit uncomfortable for me to work with my laptop. Otherwise - no issues! Coffee was excellent, room cleaned every day, location is great.

No problems checking-in. Stayed in the Grosvenor suite. Walking distance to castle, Royal Mile,…restaurants and pubs nearby. Took the tram from airport and got off a few blocks from Eleven Stafford. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for 2 day visit to Edinburgh. Literally 2 min walk from West End Tram stop to hotel. Off site Luggage storage not any further away if arriving early, complementary. 10 min walk to Old town, 5-8 min to lots of great restaurants in New Town. Don’t miss Water of Leith 30 min walk to Botanical Gardens. No front desk attendant but off site staff response was excellent.

Communication was excellent with instructions for check in. Very modern and immaculately clean room. Extremely small bathroom was the only slight downside, but lovely products in shower. The room fan was an added bonus.

Such a cute property in the Dean Village area! The check in process was easy, and the property manager was quick to response via email about a last minute additional request. We stayed in the Melville room, which was cozy and cute! Definitely will be staying here again! 10/10

Stuffy on 3rd floor

Advertised as 2nd floor but room was actually on 3rd. Winding stairs made it very difficult to carry luggage up and down. Not recommended for anyone with any sort of physical limitation. Also, no screen on the window and it needed to be open as the small room was stuffy and uncomfortable. Saw a sea gull come into the room 2 times and actually took a bag with nuts off the bed and came very close to grabbing a pill container. Needed to keep shade down so no bird would come in while sleeping. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they stayed on the main floor. Good location. Close to tram, coffee shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable enough but in general, the room was too uncomfortable on 3rd floor.

This unit was very secure and in an excellent location, we were central and able to walk to everything we wanted! The room was so cute and so clean and it was nice to have the fan and be able to open windows.

Room was very well thought of for all needs. Liked the top up cupboard on the first floor. Check in seemless. If on top floor be aware stairs are very steep. We managed as we only did then once a day . Be mindful of the room you pick . We were in Moray which I believe was one of the bigger rooms but still not overly generous. Would stay here again for sure as location perfect.

We loved staying at Eleven Stafford in the West End. Taking the tram from EDI was easy (even with many bags) and we found the location to be perfect for walking anywhere in Edinburgh. We had heavy bags because our daughter is moving here from the US and it was quite an exercise getting them up to the top floor so would probably request a lower level room next time. All in all, this was a perfect perch to explore Edinburgh!
