Fountain Court Apartments - accommodation in Edinburgh

The place is good value, modern, very conveniently located in the New Town (although a bit of a walk from Waverley station, that is always my arrival point in Edinburgh), and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's popular with groups of travelers and sometimes crowded in the reception area (but that's perhaps a sign of how successful the hotel is).

Smooth and friendly check in. Awesome location with views of the castle! Would definitely use again.

The staff at this hotel, (particularly Amos and Sharon) were exceptional. Unfortunately I had the misfortune of falling quite ill during my stay, during breakfast of all times on the day of my checkout, and these individuals responded to my situation in an extremely professional manner. They catered to my needs at the time with tremendous empathy and concern, and made sure my wife was informed and comfortable with the medical procedures of a foreign country regarding ambulatory transportation, and her accommodations for that night. Even though the hotel was fully booked, they managed to secure a room for her so she didn't have to relocate. Obviously I have nothing but praise for this hotel. If I'm ever in Edinburgh again, this will be my preferred choice. I am back in Canada now and doing much better and wish to express my sincere thanks as well as utmost congratulations to these two outstanding individuals. This hotel is very fortunate to have them in their employ. .
