Tucked away in a quiet corner of Old Tolbooth Wynd, just off the high street this charming second floor apartment with 2 bedrooms can accommodate up to 4 guests. The property also benefits from private parking in a secure underground car park, while for those travelling by train, the back entrance to Waverley station is only 5 minute walk away.
A minutes' walk in the other direction up Old Tolbooth Wynd and through the ancient archway of the Tolbooth, and you reach the Royal Mile with its tempting selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes as well as an array of absorbing historic buildings and medieval closes. From the Royal Mile you are within an easy walk many of Edinburgh's favourite visitor attractions, including Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament building, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King’s Close and the Camera Obscura.
The apartment is accessed from a secluded courtyard, 2 flights of stairs bring you to the front door which leads into a pleasant, light hallway with wooden floors. The living room is to your left and overlooks the paved courtyard which is attractively planted with shrubs and trees. The room is very light and airy with a high loft style ceiling and is simply furnished with a 2 seater sofa and chairs arranged around the fireplace. There is a TV with DVD player, free Wifi and an iPod docking station. Towards the rear of the room you will find a small dining table with seating for 4 guests.
Next to the living room is a small galley style kitchen with an internal window into the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of glass, china, cutlery and cookware. There is also a washer dryer provided for your convenience.
The 2 bedrooms are situated to the rear of the apartment, the Master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and 2 bedside cabinets and has ample built in wardrobe space. The second bedroom has twin beds and again plenty of wardrobe space. Both rooms offer attractive views up to Calton hill.
