Disliked: Cleanliness
Our group of fpur stayed at this property. We really appreciated the large, comfortable space, cozy beds, and the quiet, safe neighborhood. However, there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable.For a rental listed to accommodate seven people, there should be enough large towels, face towels, dishes, and seating for everyone. The dining table only had four chairs, which makes it difficult for a large family to have meals together. The listing also mentioned a dishwasher, but there was a note asking not to use it — if it’s not available, that should be stated clearly. There were also no dish towels provided.The house was not as clean as we expected, with dusty corners and dirty mirrors. The fireplace wasn’t working, even though it was advertised as an amenity. The ad also said shampoo would be available, but there was none.Additionally, the numerous signs posted throughout the house (“take shoes off,” “turn tap off,” etc.) made the stay feel a bit unwelcoming. After sharing constructive feedback with the host, the only response we received was repeated comments about a missing towel — which we absolutely did not take.Overall, the home has potential and we enjoyed the space and comfort, but the experience could be much improved with better attention to cleanliness, accuracy in the listing, and a more welcoming approach to guests.
