We were in Edmonton for my son’s surgery and stayed at the Wyndham. They were extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. The rooms were big, clean and easily accessible. We have never stayed here before but we will be back! Excellent place and service!

It's bring your own electrical equipment. None of the plugs work other than the wall. Hard to charge electronics which is a problem. Otherwise fine.

Beds were comfy, interior was amazing for gathering to visit, beautiful holiday decor. Never used the breakfast or the Resturant’s/lounge. Kids enjoyed pool. Underground parking in cold Alberta weather was awesome for gifts not freezing etc

Room was clean and the desk staff were great. However, our room was very cold an I can only conclude that it was intentional that they weren’t turning the heat on. We entered to a cold room at 3 pm. Turned the thermostat on and set it at 26C so it would be warm when we returned around 11 PM. Upon return, it was colder than the hallway. We attempted the thermostat again and only cold air was blowing, so we called for help. A worker entered, pressed the same controls as we had tried and magically heat came on. By 4 AM though we were freezing, adding clothes to stay warm as we slept and attempting again to increase the temperature. It was -25C outside and we had a patio door so air was cool. After a series of complaints the heat magically came on again. I can only conclude that hotel management is deliberately controlling the heat and allowing guests to be cold. We won’t be staying again as they refused to offer us any remedy an basically blew off our complaint. Wyndham you have a problem here.

I would like to start out by saying that the staff at this property were incredibly kind. When i first checked in, I noticed my bathroom was dirty and in rough shape. The rest of the room was clean so it was fine. I thought my bed was broken, so I called. The wonderful front desk lady came and fixed it, because it was a sleep number bed and just not set well. As I was getting ready for bed, I heard a dripping noise. My bathroom ceiling was dripping quite hard. They sent maintenance up right away. He checked the leak, then brought me keys to a new room immediately. I was happy with how quickly it was handled! When I got to my new room, I was quite shocked to see I was not given an upgraded room considering how big of a deal a leaking ceiling is and how kind the staff were. Again, not a big deal. As i was settling in my room, I noticed something from across the room on the wall. I thought it was a spider. Well. It was a BOOGER. With someone's nose hair still on it. Had this been the first event, I would have just cleaned it up. But I was just annoyed at this point. I called down again, they apologized, and sent someone up immediately. They were very kind. But, when a booger so big to see from across the room is missed, it really makes you question the cleanliness of the room. I asked for a discount upon check out, and was told they couldn't because i paid on expedia. They offered me a beverage or snack instead. Disappointing

Staff quickly changed our room as our first room had debris on the floor and smelled like silicone caulking like they had just done some tile repairs. Second room was clean but seemed a bit more dated somehow.

The front desk staff were quite good. Except for the fact that my key had to be continuously recoded for some reason. They seem to be going through a transition. Partly due to renovations, I believe. I was impressed with the king room, choice of furniture and condition of furniture and bed as well as large TV tasteful. Sheet selection also quite good. The weakest point was the poor to nonexistent service from the weight staff where I was to have the breakfast that they had promoted for $12. Every single table was filled with dirty dishes. I had to wait at the front for 10 minutes when there was no one before me and then I had to wait another 12 minutes at my table with no one coming at all not even with water or a menu, I finally got up and left. Do not count on this hotel right now for restaurants or eating here. Better off, using skipped the dishes or other.
