Stayed here on the weekend for a concert. Only 1 working elevator. Stairs only went outside, not to each floor. Air conditioning barely worked in the room even on high. No fan in the bathroom. Won’t be back again.

We didn’t stay here. We arrived at 9:30pm for our reservation, we were told we didn’t have a reservation even though we showed the front desk our confirmation. They said there was no room for us even though we booked the room in February for the September concert. They told us to call Expedia, Expedia said yes we were confirmed but the hotel said no rooms available in Edmonton. Expedia was able to confirm us a room at the Holiday Inn, Expedia and Holiday Inn were amazing during a stressful few hours. I will never recommend the Ramada by Wyndham Edmonton South. The front desk didn’t even pretend to care about the inconvenience they caused us.

Rooms was good size and clean. We found second floor where laundry was smelled really bad. Also Edmonton police were there a lot and people getting arrested made my family un easy. Don’t think I will take my family back there:

the rooms were clean, beds comfy. hallways were hot, one elevator out of service. One ice maker not working. very noisy, they allow homeless people to loiter 24 hours a day. parking lot street lights are burned out so very dark. the bath tub was very slow to drain. we got woken up at 3:30 in the morning to car alarms going off and a homeless guy trying to smash out windows in parked vehicles. wee will never sty there again.

While the location was convenient for where we needed to be, everything about this hotel ensures, we will never stay here again. From the horrendous condition of the facilities, to the cost, cutting cleanliness measures, to the loitering addictions on display, to the staff were at best apathetic, this is a location I would encourage people to avoid at all costs.

While it was convenient for the location I needed, the services were sub-par for a Wyndham. Only one elevator was working and that took a while, espically when multiple people required a ride. No fan in the bathroom of the room we rented. Beds had outlived their function because we instantly and inadvertently rolled towards the middle. Parking lot was great and very well lit.
