Hotel was the same as previous stays, with the added benefit of breakfast. Only complaint was the internet which was fine when there were fewer guests, but unavailable on Friday and Saturday nights when higher occupancy. Staff said working fine, but not able to get on internet with any of 2 laptops, and 2 tablets - so problem was with system, not our equipment.

The room was clean and quiet. I was a little surprised that there was no "chain" type lock on the inside. The room was in a little disrepair. One receptacle box was hanging out of the wall. Both the sink and shower needed the fixtures replaced as the water would barely come out and sprayed in all directions. The water was very hard so I assume the faucets were clogged. Nothing worse than struggling through a shower to ruin your stay.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The hallway smelled of marijuana. I went to the service desk to be moved to another room. The second room was decent, but the hotel really needed to be cleaned and updated.

The hvac was having issues and they fixed it immediately. The key card is annoying now that there is a magnets on the phones to charge them. It wipes out the code every dat.

About this hotel: the hotel stuff was very nice. This was the best and only bright side of our stay. When we came to the room, I cleaned everywhere myself because the room condition was just disgausting.I am a good cleaner and always pay attention to the dirt, dust. Instead of asking for the so called "cleaning" this hotel was supposed to provide before we entered, I cleaned the room myself with a paper towel, and in the evening after we came from hiking, asked for a broom to clean the floor that was never really cleaned. The condition of the furniture, bathroom sink, batshtab is bad, very much outdated and in some places broken. The dust was in the room in all drowers, so I didn't unpack our suitcase to put our clothe in them, the dust and soli were on the A/C under window, the coffee maker was sticky. The breakfast was just OK: at least we were provided with hardboiled eggs, orange juice, not good coffee, milk, wafle maker, toaster/bread and cereal. I understand what we payed for but if you like clean rooms don't stay in this hotel. Everything else is bearable. Supermarket Aldi was across the street even though we didn't visit it. The Corning museum of Glass is very close by car. So, the location is Ok.

Has gone downhill a lot since we first stayed

Showerhead was duck taped on, corners of bathroom were not clean. Hairdryer was filthy and covered in black spots, I was afaid to touch it.

Gowing downhill fast

The bathroom had hair on floor and in shower. The breakfast room was poor...coffee was cold or non existant, the power went off to toaster, microwave, a d waffle iron if more than one item was used simultaneously. The outside had old appliances strewn about, bicycles, other items disposed of right outside the breakfast room door. The place was in general disrepair. Wakeup call came an hour late.The driveway had huge potholes.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower faucet was good, but the sink faucet had low water pressure at times. The tv was quite slow to respond to turning on or changing channels - not sure why - maybe satellite or cable issue? The remote seemed ok. Breakfast was basic, I just had a fruit and that was fresh. However, the OJ in the Tropicana container (labeled with some pulp) was actually Tang or equivalent - not actual fresh OJ. Overall, the price was reasonable enough for a place to sleep for the night since I was eating elsewhere anyway. Yes, I'll stay there again if I'm in the area.
