Henry at the front desk was so personable and kind. I’ve been coming to Eugene for 2 years now since my son is at UO but this is the first at Downtown Inn. This place will be my go-to from now on. Place is central to the campus, restaurants and grocery stores. Parking is a big problem in Eugene but this place has plenty of parking for their customers. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the room I stayed at even though it was clean, smelled a little off. It smelled like a senior citizen who wore a lot of pomade BUT it was nothing that a Febreeze spray couldn’t fix. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a great basic ‘place to lay your head’ motel, the Downtown Inn fits the bill. Large, clean, quiet room. Great, friendly service from the office.

A clean room for a low price

My standards for budget hotels is cleanliness. If I’m going to do budget and want a clean room in Eugene I stay at Downtown inn. The couple that owns the place are lovely people and very helpful.

Very pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was. I knew the location was great for my plans in Eugene, but for a relatively inexpensive place, I wasnt expecting the room to be as nice/nicer than some of the 4-star hotels Ive stayed at. Very friendly staff, super convenient, and a great room. Highly recommend.

Very quiet, clean, and Wonderful staff. The owner did a lot of work with the upgrade sound proofing, very appreciated. Downtown is a short walk away. A very relaxing stay. Unfortunately no washer and dryer to use.
