Nestled in the evocative setting of the Leventina Valley, in the picturesque village of Rossura, the apartment ECO DELLA VALLE 1 is the ideal place to rediscover the joy of peace and nature. Surrounded by lush meadows, lively streams, and majestic snow-capped peaks, it offers authentic emotions in every season.

This cozy mountain accommodation combines the charm of tradition with modern comfort. Original elements such as the large stone fireplace, wood-burning stove, and ceramic floors tell stories of the past and create a warm and homely atmosphere. The bright living room, with its comfortable double sofa bed and large wooden table, is perfect for relaxing and sharing special moments (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). The French door opens onto a spacious covered balcony overlooking the garden and forest, offering enchanting views throughout the day. The separate and fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook like at home. It also has access to the outdoor space, ideal for enjoying the sun and fresh mountain air. The sleeping area includes one double bedroom and one single, both with wooden floors and windows framing the alpine landscape. The bathroom, compact yet functional, is equipped with a practical shower.

The property is surrounded by a charming garden, featuring a barbecue area and a characteristic stone table—perfect for enjoying meals outdoors surrounded by greenery.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The apartment is located in the historic center of Rossura, a charming mountain village where time seems to stand still. Here you can stroll along narrow cobbled streets, admire the typical stone houses, and soak in the silence and tranquility of the surrounding woods. On a small green promontory stands the ancient Church of Saints Lorenzo and Agata, offering a stunning panoramic view of the valley below. Just a few kilometers away is Faido, the main town in the Leventina Valley, where you’ll find all essential services: supermarkets, restaurants, post office, banks, pharmacies, grocery stores, and a renowned bakery that produces delicious local specialties daily. Among the area’s most popular natural attractions are the spectacular Piumogna Waterfalls, easily accessible and very popular in summer—perfect for a day outdoors enjoying nature and relaxation. For trekking and mountain enthusiasts, the surrounding area offers a dense network of trails leading to the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno, and Carì. The latter is also known for its ski resort, very popular in winter and just 20 minutes away. Other ski resorts are located in Dalpe, Prato-Leventina, and Airolo. Finally, about 15 minutes away is Chironico, one of the most renowned bouldering destinations in Europe.

How to get there:

By car: Whether coming from the south (Bellinzona) or north (Erstfeld), take the A2 motorway exit toward Faido and set your GPS. The property is about 10 minutes away.

By train: From Bellinzona station, take the IR46 train toward Zurich and get off at "Faido". From there, take bus No. 119 toward Carì and get off at "Rossura, Paese". Walk about 4 minutes to reach the apartment.
