It would be really great to have more chairs in the pool area. There were two small groups and not enough chairs for folks who weren't swimming. Also, the chlorine intensity seemed pretty high and made several of our groups eyes burn.

The pool was too cold for my small children which was the reason why we chose this hotel. From the photos, we noticed a slide and nice shallow part! This would have been great but the water was cooold! Our room was clean and comfortable! We stayed two nights and got fresh towels delivered! Complimentary breakfast is good and the hours are better than other places I’ve stayed!

We always choose this Hotel
At first we requested not be put in the other building because we wanted to be closer to the lobby, but it is the newer part of the hotel connected by a short hallway passing the pool area, which did have a slide and a water fountain and a very shallow side to make even the youngest happy. Along with a hot tub. We were way at the end of the hall on fourth floor of newer building with a great view of the town, our room was beautiful and spacious, and the walk to the lobby was not bad at all. One thing I want to say about this hotel they do take care of their visitors. Last time we stayed here last February they had happy hour from 5:00 pm 7:00pm where they served a small dinner and had complimentary glasses of wine and beer. Lol, sad to say this time no wine and beer but you get juice beverage, and dinner. I have never been to a hotel before that served breakfast and a small dinner for their guests. First night they served sloppy joes, chips and a salad, second night stay was a soup and crackers and not sure what else ( we didn’t make to that one) breakfast was good as well served eggs, patty or link sausage,waffles, country fried potatoes, waffles, donuts, muffins, cereal, toast bagels, juices, coffee, yogurt. Front desk has always been friendly as well as the cleaning staff. Very nice quiet motel, the only thing different about the new part and the old part the pillows were rocks, hubby had problems but since I always travel with my smooshie pillow I slept wonderful.

Hotel and staff were pretty decent but the other guests made our stay miserable. Call us crazy but we usually book a hotel room because we need a place to SLEEP when we cant make it home that night. Kids were running the halls until after midnight (and I mean small kids…5-10 yo), slamming doors, etc, there were even sick ones coughing on everything at breakfast. My daughter didnt even want to swim because of the craziness in the pool area. Adults were conversing loudly in the hall late at night…probably one and the same as the parents letting their kids run wild around the hotel. Whoever had the room above us clearly thought the beds were trampolines and good for jumping off onto the floor. Looked like a locust plague had been through the breakfast area both mornings we were there. Will not stay again due to the loud, messy, rude, guests, that mainly consisted of inconsiderate parents and their kids that they dont bother to parent.
