This was a perfect place to stay! It is close to the train station as well as the bus station where many tours to nearby Pisa and Tuscan wineries depart. Additionally, a special shout out to the kind and honest staff of this particular hotel. My wife had forgotten her new personalized Gucci bag in our room when we checked out. Housekeeping turned it in and the front desk went above and beyond to contact us and return her bag. Thank you so much!

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. It was very close to the train station, laundry service, pizza restaurant we went every day, supermarket ( right next door) around 10-12 min to the city center (walkable) I would recommend this hotel if you are coming from the train station with your luggage.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The room was super small, even for Italy. I could barely squeeze my wheeled luggage between the bed and the bathroom wall when entering the room. The procedure to get to the sink and mirror went like this: 1. The bathroom door opens only 45 degrees before bumping into the sink. 2. You squeeze in and step aside. 3. Close the door. 4. Now you can reach the sink. 5. To see yourself in the mirror, you have to press against the back of the door. And forget about the window — it faces a tiny internal shaft about 2×2 meters. Honestly, they’d be better off plastering it shut.

Don’t bother.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is convenient and the decor of the hotel was nice and stylish but our room was very tired with wallpaper hanging off the wall, a black mouldy pull cord in the shower and in general needing a makeover but we were too hot and tired to ask to change rooms.

Ratify renovation, great location

Fantastic renovated hotel, beautiful brand new room, comfortable bed and amenities. The lobby is modern but still with a Tuscan feel. The staff were excellent. Perfect location if you are catching a train from Santa Maria Novella. 10 stars of 10!
