Small but very clean and cute. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Good location. Nicely remodeled, with all needed amenities, Dedo boutique Hotel presented itself even better than 4 star hotels in Rome.

Nice boutique hotel that about 15mins walk from The train station. Rooms are spacious and clean with all the typical amenities. Breakfast on the 1st day was good but not n the 2nd day, staff was scrambling to fix the coffee machine and bring out the scrambled eggs and sausages. No delicious bacon was served on the 2nd day. Everyone was nice except for old guy manning the reception in the afternoon who was a bit uptight.

It was very close to the river which was nice to walk along! It had the basics room wise as a single person! But the breakfast was awesome. I could hear every move of the room next to me.. from turning on the sink water to moving around. I slept through it. Just was an observation.

Room & common areas are very clean. Bathroom has everything you need. They change the sheets & pillow cases every day. The staff is helpful. Breakfast while a bit limited has both hot & cold selections.

Central and close to attractions. Staff was very helpful. The security to get inside the hotel is a lot: you have to use an “electronic key” to open the big door ( remains close after 9 pm), then enter the passcode to open the gate. The elevator is SMALL, the stairs to get to the 3rd floor where the hotel is located, didn’t have light ( at least the 1st night we used). The electric connection to use the coffee machine or the kettle didn’t fit the wall, so we have to disconnect the mini fridge while we use any of this 2. The bathroom was clean but the water kept running if we didn’t pay close attention. The 4th floor rooms didn’t have access to the elevator so you have to use the stairs ( inconvenient with big luggage). Breakfast was really good and staff was super super nice.

The breakfast was amazing. A lot of variety and very fresh. The room was cleaned daily. The staff was very friendly. The only thing is that the rooms are very small and the shower is literally in the room. But, most rooms in Europe, in centrally located hotels are very small so this we were expecting to be like that. The location of the hotel is amazing. In a few minutes you are close to major historical sites. Overall, we highly recommend it.

The hotel was centrally located on a quiet street and was clean, comfortable and I had all the amenities I needed in my room. They also kindly provided a breakfast to go as I had an early flight to catch. Access was challenging as the hotel is in a shared building with locked gates, and I would not have been able to get inside to check in had someone else not been leaving at the same time. No information was provided in advance about how to access. Also there was no airport transport as advertised and which was my primary reason for choosing this hotel. They ordered a taxi for me but it did not show up at the appointed time early in the morning and the reception desk was not manned 24/7 so I had to scramble to find a ride to the airport which was stressful.

Overall the hotel was nice for a small boutique hotel. The rooms were small - but that is to be expected with these old buildings. It was clean and renovated. The breakfast was great - lots of choices and quite tasty. My only warning is that in order to get in the hotel, you need 3 keys and a code. The reception is located on the third floor - so you need to climb stairs, take a 3 person elevator to reach someone. The main wood doors close at night, so you will need a key. Not a big deal, but wish I knew that ahead of time. The location is on a quiet street near the river. It is about a 10 min walk to the main centre. Overall, good experience.

Dedo was fine for a boutique hotel in an old part of Florence. What I didn't expect is that you require 3 keys and a code to get into the building. The sign for the hotel is very small - so we missed it at first. Then, you are greeted with a large wood door (need a key if not opened), then a steel gate (need a passcode to get in), then you have to go up to the 3rd floor for reception. The rooms are small - but they are modern and clean. The noise in the hallway was a bit loud. The breakfast was great - lots of choices. Very tasty. Over all, it was fine - if you don't mind the hassle to get in.
