Never again.

Worst experience. Checkin was easy. However, the room was not fully cleaned. Trash on the floor, unknown substance on the bathroom door handle. The elevator wasn’t working in the morning. The breakfast food looked inedible. An elderly woman, myself, and several other people were locked out of our rooms after 9am. The front desk person in the morning was miserably rude and complained that guests were noticeably upset. She said “everyone is complaining to me and I’m pretty sick of it.” The property manager verbally assaulted me when I told her about the problems. I never raised my voice but the manager yelled at me on the phone and abruptly hung up after hours of trying to get ahold of her. No one understood hospitality, kindness, or manners. I have never experienced such a terribly unprofessional group of people who genuinely hate their jobs. I will never stay at this hotel and plan on sharing my experience with everyone I can to avoid future problems. I will never stay at a Choice Hotel again based on this experience.

We stayed overnight on a road trip to our final destination. The reception area was nice and staff was welcoming. The room was fine. It was clean which I was happy about. The walls could definitely use painting as there were lots of scuffs and marks on them which I was surprised for a newer property. The furniture also had some gouges in them. Pillows were very small. The pool was out of service so that might be an issue for people with littles wanting to burn off some energy. Breakfast was what you would typically expect.
