The apartment is located in Via dei Servi, one of the most characteristic and suggestive streets of Florence, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza S.S. Annunziata, two of the most beautiful squares in Florence. It is located at the beginning of the street a few steps from the Cathedral, in the pedestrian area that surrounds the Duomo and the inner historic core of the city. The main points of artistic interest are very close to Via dei Servi and can be reached on foot in a few minutes, as is the railway station.
The apartment is on the second floor of the Casa dè Biffi; it has 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom, and can accommodate up to 3 people. The surface is 56 square meters and the ceiling, 3.5 meters high, is in original wooden beams. It has recently been completely renovated and equipped, and has been available since March 2015.
The furniture is classic, very comfortable; comes from the owner's family of origin: they are authentic pieces of Italian manufacture. In particular, the Capodimonte porcelain chandelier placed above the large dining table is noteworthy.
In the living room a large French door opens onto a balcony overlooking the large and bright internal courtyard. A large square arch leads to the dining area and the fully equipped kitchen. A bookcase cabinet can be easily transformed into 1 bed for the 3rd guest.
The second floor, which corresponds to the third in the American classification, is easily accessible by an elevator which is very useful both for people and for carrying suitcases. The Palace dates back to the Renaissance period and has been renovated in recent years, preserving the original elements of the ancient Florentine houses of the Renaissance.
The Bargellini-Guarnieri Catalog describes the Palazzo as simple but with 'delicate frames' on the facade. It was built on older houses belonging to the Tedaldi family, and in the mid-16th century it belonged to the Florentine Biffi family, hence its name 'Casa dè Biffi'. Later the palace was owned by the Pagani family. On the second floor level the facade is decorated with a family crest, probably coming from the Pagani family.

Eleonora and Fiorenzo, the owners, lived for many years in this property, and now they live near Florence a few kilometers from the city.
In 2012 they decided to offer others the opportunity to share, albeit for short periods. of time, the extraordinary experience of living in the monumental center of Florence a few steps from the Duomo.
The exclusive position is immediately striking. Furthermore, the spaciousness of the spaces and rooms, and a renovation that is particularly faithful to the historical characteristics of the building, allow you to live in these environments with all the functionality and comforts of modern life together with the charm of ancient times that these places have preserved. . NOTES
CHECK IN. Check in is between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm on appointment. If needed and if possible we can establish a different time.
CHECK IN DAYS. Please, take into account Check in is not possible in these dates: 25th, 26th, 31st December; 1st January; Easter Sunday, Easter Monday; obviously it is possible to CHeck in the days before and Check out in these dates or after.
CHILDREN. The apartment is not in general suitable for too much young kids. In such a case, please ask.
PRICE. The price you paid is all inclusive, except for the Stay Tax.
STAY TAX. It currently amounts to 6€/person/night up to a maximum of 7 days (no more tax from the 8th day on); it must be paid in Euros cash at Check in and you will receive a distinct receipt for this.
ACCOMODATION AGREEMENT. A rental agreement valid by italian laws and fiscal rules will be signed in double copy by the owner and one of the guests at Check in.
REGISTRATION. Due to the security italian laws requesting the identification of guests hosted in Hotels, B&B, Apartments or others, at Check in is requested to check their passports and to register the identification data: Name, Surname, Birth Date, Citizenship and Place of Birth. A copy of passport is due only for the guest signing the Accomodation Agreement.
Please, take into account the time requested for Check in is 30 minutes about: necessary to show the different features of the apartment and its correct use, and to provide some useful informations to live and enjoy the city during the stay; if you prefer a quick Check in, please let us know and we'll reduce it only to the necessary formalities.
