Excellent stay at Il Granduca Apartment –

I really enjoyed my stay here! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. The staff were kind and always quick to help. The location was perfect — close to shops and restaurants, and just a short walk from the main attractions. It felt peaceful and safe. I’d happily stay here again!

The apartment was nice and within walking distance of tourist attractions. We had trouble checking in and getting in touch with someone when we got there. We chose the early check in and paid extra to be able to drop off our bags at noon. The check in time indicated in the app was from 2-7 and we got there earlier than that. Turns out they were waiting for our call to confirm we'd be there at noon but there was poor signal around the apartment and the phone they were calling did not work there. We tried to get in touch with someone using a different phone number, but we only had access to the customer service number from the app, which is an office in the UK. Not helpful when you are in Italy trying to get in. They should have shared the phone number of the contact in Italy in advance so we could prevent this miscommunication. We eventually got in touch with someone in Italy, checked in, and dropped off our bags. We came back at 3 pm, during the normal check-in time hoping to be able to settle in and have our baby get some sleep. Unfortunately the apartment was still being cleaned at that time. We were exhausted and our baby was super tired. We stuck around hoping this would be done quickly. Everybody was exhausted from the transatlantic flight, and unfortunately the place was not ready until 5 pm. They did indicate there was a strict check out time at 10 am, so it was disappointing that the place was not ready at the indicated time.
