Disappointing—do not recommend

The location was good. The check in was only online with no orientation by any human. Not good. The book providing instructions was poor and limited. For example, we were locked into the building and didn’t have the instructions to exit to the street. Dishes and cooking equipment inadequate. Lots of rules including taking out your garbage before check out but nowhere to take it. Very noisy location. Bars below and noise late at night. Cleaning machines in the night. Morning early construction machines working. No sound proofing in the unit.

Great location in the Sant’Ambrosio district

Clean and roomy apartment. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen and living room. Quite area at night. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops grocery stores great pizza place just a couple doors down. The Ambrogio market is around the corner. Overall a definite do over. Close enough to all tourist areas but far enough to get the feeling of a local neighborhood.

Great location in Florence

The 3 bedrooms were plenty of space for our family of 4, and each bedroom had AC which was great. The location was fantastic and we had no issue walking everywhere we wanted to see. The furniture was a little tired and there could have been better seating in the common space, but these are relatively small issues. Overall a great experience, and would highly recommend for anyone that needs a nice home base while they explore Florence!

Excellent location, next to everything. Terrible location, next to everything.

This location can be best summarized by saying that everything was nearly perfect. The hosts were responsive and kind over WhatsApp (no in person meeting!) and that the apartment was clean and comfortable, both between the overall space and the actual comfort of the beds, shower etc. However, being a good location for walking and exploring has its drawbacks… The apartment is right above a shop, which in Italy means every night at whatever time the shop closes (in this case 1 AM) the security grate gets slammed down over the entrance. It’s close to a few restaurants and is apparently in an area of thoroughfare for post-meal cavorting. So even if you wanted to be fast asleep by the 1am grate slamming, you really won’t be able to. Altogether, great spot if you plan to be out most nights and can sleep through most of the noise. We could not. Very comfortable and had all the amenities you could need. We had a great time overall, despite the noise. Washer works great, too!
