The Efsti-Dalur II can be found 16 kilometres from the central part of Fludir. Or, alternatively, the Litli Geysir is located 20 kilometres away. Another option is to book a bed at the Hotel Gullfoss or the Uthlid Cottages.

Heimaey is 75 kilometres to the south of Fludir and is home to the Eldfell Volcano and Heimaklettur. Heimaey hotels include the Aska Hostel and Hotel Vestmannaeyjar.
