First room offered was not serviced, second room was clean and freshly redone. The shower has no water pressure or adequate flow. Breakfast is waffle, cereal or oatmeal, with coffee or juice. The Mexican restaurant next door is convenient and reasonable

Successful overnight stay
My husband and I were in town for a family funeral and just needed one overnight stay. The checkin personnel were kind and helpful. Our room was comfortable, except for a mattress that was harder than ours at home so didn't sleep as well. We liked the unique window shade that shut out harsh light and some of the highway truck sounds. The room was clean, except for a slight ant problem in the bathroom. However, it wasn't bad and the rest of the space didn't seem to be affected. The bathroom was nice & roomy, though I do think the ice bucket and coffee set up would have been better placed outside the bathroom for sanitary reasons, though I think most motel/hotels are now using that placement for some reason. I moved ours to the desk out in the room (and moved it back before we checked out).

Surprisingly charming and convenient
I had an unexpectedly great experience stopping here on a cross-country road trip. The hotel seems to be partway through a renovation and there are parts that are blocked off, but it looks like many of the rooms are already done, and mine could not have been cuter, cleaner, or cozier. I loved the art, color, and design. The bed was really comfortable and I liked all the places to store things. The only hot item at breakfast was waffles, but there's a Waffle House just a couple blocks away where I grabbed a great, inexpensive breakfast. This hotel has easy access off and on the interstate and is close to multiple gas stations and convenience stores. The coffee at the OneStop nearby is great. Would definitely stay here again if needing a place to stop in the area.
