You could not have paid me to enter the shower. It is basically an old motel that needs to be undated. One of the pillows was dirty on the bottom half. I didn't want to stay, but we arrived after 2am so we slept in our clothes and checked out when the sun came up.

1. Reception staff were rude when we paid. 2. They didn't send check-in information 24-48 hours in advance of the booking as they said they would. This made the flight to Fort Lauderdale stressful as we didn't know if they would honour the booking as we were arriving after the check-in desk closed. 3. I told them when I booked we were arriving after check-in closed, so if they were worried about payment they should have requested that in advance. 4. I had an email exchange when I booked about wanting a roll-away bed put in the room which is listed as free on hotels.com, but they wanted to charge us 70 USD for this and only told us on the day we checked in

AC was very loud. Bed not very comfortable. Had to wait for front desk to show up even though sign said 9 am, they arrived at 10:15 am. Said check-in was 3pm, even though hotels.com said 2pm. Decor was spacious and had in room fridge and microwave.

When I arrived at Noon, the Manager told me that I could leave my luggage in my room without paying an early check in fee. I dropped my luggage into the room and changed clothes and was ready to leave when the Manager pounded on the door and demanded payment of $20 in cash because I changed my clothes. Incredibly rude person.

Staff is extremely unprofessional here and hit me with hidden fees. After my stay they called me to tell me the use of the rollout bed in the room is typically extra cost. I had no idea, there was no signage, the website doesn’t mention it and at no time during check in was it mentioned. During the call they called me “homeless” for no reason. Just throughout random insult, which is unbelievable. During the call they never even said they would charge me, just informed me that they typically charge when it’s used. Then the next day I see a $100 charge. It’s in the room with no signage, there was no reason for me to believe any extra cost would be incurred. The place itself is fine, but due to this, I’d encourage you to consider staying elsewhere. After all do you really want to support someone who conducts business in this way. I was a repeat customer up until now. I hope the person who randomly called me homeless without being prompted to do so sees this and reflects upon their decision.
