We chose this location for our spring break bc of the pool. We arrived and were told the pool was closed for construction. We also had some confusion with the staff not bothering to check us in properly so that we had housekeeping attempting to barge in on us in our room twice during our stay. When we brought this up with staff, they were rude to us. There was also a construction crew literally hanging off of the building just outside our window so we couldn’t keep the blinds open.

under a large scale renovation. I was notified of the renovation by the Marriott via email the afternoon before leaving. No chance to find another hotel. Expedia did not share anything regarding the condition of the hotel. no pool, no outdoor area, main entrance closed, construction activities everywhere.

They turned off the water with no warning for several hours. I went there to celebrate my birthday & they had construction everywhere. They knew they had construction & didn’t advise payment guests prior to booking. That’s honestly the worse experience. The staff told me I can get compensation at checkout if I were to call customer service & the only that was done was a “sorry for your bad experience “ bs. I will never book again.

Under construction. No pool or gym access. Was not told this when booking. Also mandatory valet $51/day. Very expen sive and wasnt told about this prior to booking. Property was under construction and organization to accommodate guests not well thought through by management. Many parts of property was in disarray. Bed linens had some type of red stain on them upon arrival. Room was nice and clean other than that.
