Awakened by construction drilling on floor above for three days. Large construction project continuously on adjacent property affecting the serenity of the pool area. The other adjacent property has two gigantic air conditions placed right next to this properties pool area. A constant drone from these giant fans. Avoid this place. I'm sure you can find a better resort.

My favorite hotel

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!!! From the moment we got there they treated us amazing. Rooms were so comfortable. Location couldn't be better with straight beach access directly from the pool. Water is offered at the pool which is such a nice touch knowing you don't have to bring a ton of water or keep going back to your room to refill it. The bartenders at the tiki hut were all so friendly and accommodating. They come down even while you are on the beach to see if you want to order any food or drink. Oh and the breakfast... for a little extra $$ you get breakfast coupons which isn't just your usual hotel buffet you get served fresh made to order breakfast entree with a drink which makes mornings so much easier! Front desk was always helpful especially frank he was amazing. I'll never stay anywhere else !

Probably wont stay here again.

Construction in the building and it would start prior to 8am. There are no tables by the pool area to play games on. This was a problem for me and my family. we like to play games by the pool. we had to use chairs to make a table and that wasnt great on the back. A man came from the beach to beg from us and security did little to make him leave. when he finally left he had a case of beer as he made his exit after begging from others.

Chill beach side hotel with very friendly staff

Pros: North of the heart of the city, so a quieter more chill location. Staff was all very friendly. Room was freshly remodeled (although I would not say the highest craftsmanship). Beach was beautiful and right outside the door. Nice big hot tub and outdoor sitting area. Cons: Restaurant was not great. Construction on site and the building next door, so there's pretty constant construction noise during the day, granted none of it is super loud or overwhelming. Wifi was spotty for our 9th floor room.

Could Have Been Better

We were placed in a room directly below construction. The power tools were so loud it seemed like they were in the room with us. We asked to be moved, we were moved three floors down in the same area which seemed unnecessary since the hotel was clearly not even at half capacity. The shower in the new room was so hot we could barely get into it, the water in the former room would never get warm. Moving rooms in the middle of your stay is a huge inconvenience so we just worked with it. The walls are very thin, if you like it quiet, this is not the place for you. Nicely located on the beach, the pool and hot tub were great. The staff was overall friendly. Natasha, our server for breakfast was delightful.

The room and property were wonderful. The bar is super overpriced. Didn’t eat at the restaurant it was overpriced as well, that also includes the bar area. The staff recommended going next store to the bamboo tiki bar, which had excellent service, food and atmosphere. I would recommend they do something about the food and drink prices. We ordered one drink no alcohol to speak of and $16.00 each

I liked that they were renovating the rooms, and the room we had this year was nicer that the room we had during our stay last year. The amenities were good, the pool and area around the pool was nice, and easy access to the beach as well.
