This is a beautiful, well decorated 3 bedroom unit!

We invite you to enjoy all the luxuries of this great condo such as tile floors, granite counters, large bathrooms and closets. It is perfect for easy living with some extra space for all your personal items.

The property is DESTIN WEST BEACH AND BAY RESORT located on Okaloosa Island. The property has several hot tubs and pools and is walking distance to several restaurants and shopping.

This is a sixth floor unit that is over 1500 sq/ft. We have a king sized bed in the master and second guest bedroom with tvs in every bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal if you were so inclined.

Fully furnished and stocked condo. Great views of the inlet and marina. We were told to bring our own beach towels (they are not provided). Beach accessories were available in the condo, but it was too cold for us to use them. The resort includes several heated pools and hot tubs. The lazy river is not heated. Weather was chilly when we visited but we still had a great time. The beach, boardwalk, Gulfaquarium and Wild Willy's are within easy walking distance. We cooked a few meals on the grills at the resort and in the stocked kitchen. We parked underneath the building which was very convenient. There are carts available to use to bring your stuff to & from the car.

The view from the deck is outstanding. We saw dolphins 3 mornings during our stay. At night the lights change colors in the pools which is beautiful. So many pools and hot tubs. Very nice to have the walk over to get to the gulf side too. Kitchen could use some frying pans and teaspoons, but otherwise was well stocked. We had trouble with the whirlpool in our bathroom and they sent someone up right away to look at it. Of course it needed a new part, but he showed us how to still use it. We left and went down to Panama City beach for a few days and I already miss Destin West. So many friendly people there too.

This property was even better than the pictures! The view is amazing, the beach access is simple yet gorgeous and the condo itself is spacious with comfortable beds and living room. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

The condo was listed as corner condo. It was not a corner condo. The floors were dirty. One bedside lamp did not work. There was no high chair as listed. The kitchen cabinets had peeling paint around the knobs. The kitchen did not have salt or pepper shakers or oven mitts or pot holders. The inside couch and loveseat were a bit worn and dingy. The patio couch cushions were flat and dingy. The patio rug and mats were very dirty. The condo could be much nicer with a thorough cleaning and newer, updated couches.

Heron 504 was amazing. The unit had everything we needed and more. The view of the bay and sunrise was beautiful. The location was perfect, just steps from the lazy river and pools. We were able to access our boat easily from the marina. I communicated with our host several times and he quickly responded. We highly recommend this condo for anyone.

Great location and amenities.

Very nice condo. Location was great. Lanai overlooked the pools and the bay. Kitchen was set up nicely although it was difficult to control the burners on the stove. Remote controls did not work- maybe they were switched around as there were a lot of TV's, but probably should be marked if that is the case. Lastly, the sofa bed was very old and too uncomfortable for even a teenager to sleep in. Upholstery was very worn and not very clean. Would suggest updating to something more stain resistant. We still had a great time and would definitely visit again.

Perfect family vacation

This condo offered the best of everything. Within a short walk from the condo we fished, enjoyed the pool, built sandcastles on the beach, and watched beautiful sunrises. This condo was also conveniently located close to all the fun restaurants and activities the beach has to offer. I highly recommend.

Very outdated ice maker never fixed and from previous reviews it was already on the blink before our stay. Management did provide us with bag ice which was a plus. Cleaning wasn't the best. Microwave seems to be on its last leg. The men in our family knew to unplug it and the touch panel would start working again.

Condo issues

The ice maker did not work and they were unable to fix it three days later when they finally got someone out there. He was able to fix the dishwasher that leaked water all over the floor the first time it was used. I made calls to all the maintenance issues numbers starting the afternoon we checked in...it was nice besides these issues and having to drive and buy ice as there was none available at the wgole property.

Enjoyable vacation

We've stayed in this property before and liked it enough to return. Although there were a couple of maintenance issues, someone came quickly to take care of them. The only negatives were the icemaker/water dispenser weren't working and the maintenance guy couldn't fix it during his visit and the garbage disposal seems to be broken. The pools and lazy river are very inviting and there is plenty of seating around.
