disappointing

the reception guy in the morning was very rude, i just asked for the possibility to empty the fridge (or mini bar or whatever) and he started arguing in a very hostile way. moreover an insecurity feeling around the hotel with some mix of homeless persons and drug dealers made the stay worse. breakfast team was amazing although.

We arrived at 6:30am and stopped by the front desk to see if we could check in early. The rooms were not ready but staff went above and beyond to get the rooms ready within two hours. After a long transatlantic flight we appreciated that we could get into the room to take a nap and shower. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was a bit dated but overall clean and well maintained. The area around the hotel is pretty sketchy. While conveniently located across from the main railroad station and about 25 minute walk from the old town, there is a lot of drug activity going on right around the hotel. We felt safe during the day but at night I would avoid the area.

I always choose this hotel when in Frankfurt due to its proximity to the train station and price usually good..There are some less desirable characters between the station and the property but they never cause any issues. I enjoy staying here. I will stay again.

This is an amazing property right beside the central station of Frankfurt. The property is clean, the rooms are cozy though not big, just enough to sleep and be comfortable. The area around the property is very sketchy as there is a lot of homeless people in this area, however for the price and the convenience it’s not a big deal just need to be cautious at night especially. I would stay here again and it’s perfect to spend a day or two in transit.

The Concorde is convenient to the Hauptbanhof. The woman at check-in was very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a good start to the morning. The major sights were walkable or a short tram ride away.

Absolutely disappointing experience at Concorde Hotel. During one of the days of our stay, as my family and I were walking into the breakfast area, a front desk staff member—wearing red lipstick and bangs—approached me and publicly held up a towel from our room that had hair dye on it. In front of several other guests, she opened it, questioned me loudly about the stain, and told me the towel was now “wasted.” It was humiliating and completely inappropriate. Never in my life has a hotel confronted a guest about what’s on a towel. It could have been anything—personal body fluids, for example—and to handle it so publicly was not only unprofessional but incredibly disrespectful. Additionally, the hotel is located in a very uncomfortable area—surrounded by individuals who are homeless or drinking on the street. It’s also right in the middle of the red-light district, something that was not mentioned anywhere in the hotel description. This is not a kid-friendly location, and I would have never booked here had I known. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone expecting a respectful, professional, or safe environment.
