Drug addicts shooting up within meters of the front door. Very loud bar next door. Many people drink outside said bar, and bottles and containers everywhere. I am a smoker and this created uncertainty every time i went outside. Room cramped. Breakfast good. Femake staff reasonbly friendly. Male staff not.

Decent hotel but not a 4.5 star by any measure.

Hotel was pretty clean but was a little less than expected. I requested a room with a King sized bed. What we got was two twins pushed together, only about 1 foot off the ground. The bathroom also left a bit to be desired. It was very, very small, toilet jammed in a tiny space. Bathtub was very high to step into and slippery as heck! Lastly, the area, while very convenient to the man in Frankfurt train station, just one block over was very drug ridden area.

The hotel was right in the heart of the “red light district” called Bahnhofsviertel which we did not know existed in Frankfurt. With a simple google search, I learned I did not do my research unfortunately. While we chose it because it was close to the train station, I’d strongly recommend staying farther away from the train station. That area in June 2025 was truly not good. Open air drug use with LOTS of people very obviously strung out. Lots of people that did not appear to be acting normally and just generally was very uneasy walking there even in the day. The hotel itself was older and dated and the bed had some stains but appeared to have been cleaned so overall, I’d say the hotel is average. Would definitely opt for a better area. Even walking a bit further to the Lindt store was a much better area

The Victoria is in an old building delightfully restored on the inside. our room was large, well appointed. The desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were entirely pleased with our stay.

Clean hotel. Close to train station, transit sites and tour companies. Staff is wonderful and kind. Just be prepared that it’s near the main hub therefore you’ll see homeless and the red light district is nearby. Otherwise I’d stay again and again if back in Germany.

The hotel and staff was great. I’m giving it an average rating because it’s in a tough part of the city. We had a lot of street noise until 2 am. It was a bit scary walking back to the hotel after dark

Everything? Can I simply say everything about the Victoria was above expectations. Friendly, clean and fairly quiet. Close to the train station made us choose it, but everything was great. Service and the breakfast - one of our best hotel meals ever. Just what we needed.
