Stay was great as always and always friendly staff at the front desk. This was the second stay in 6 days as we were traveling down 95. Had asked for plates to take to the room the first stay and were given them with no issue. Second stay we were told by the bartender that wasn't possible as they were for dinner service. (It was 8pm). Would appreciate consistency in their answers or provide paper plates for guests to take to their rooms. As someone who works in the hospitality for 15 plus years I was a little taken aback by the lack of true service.

The hotel itself and surrounding area was nice overall. My only complaint is that you have to pay for the continental breakfast when its included at other hotels. This is the only hotel I've ever stayed at where there was an additional charge for breakfast

The bathroom was missing amenities: hand soap, makeup remover towelettes, etc. I had to request coffee for the coffeemaker. The buffet breakfast was overpriced - $19.95 for powdered eggs, greasy sausage links and potato chunks. At 9 am they had run out of cream cheese, had 4 stale bagels, no sweet breads or muffins and most of the other offerings, fruit, yogurt, etc. were gone as well. Both the Hampton and Homewood offer the same for free.
