Been moving from SoCal to NorCal for the past 4 days, and paying $120+/night at hotels with the same look and feel ‐ UNTIL I stepped into my room at rhe Rodeo. It blew me away! It was after a long, hot day and the AC was up to the task and it was a perfect 70 degrees in no time. Nice, clean western decor and cool laminate flooring (as opposed to gross carpeting harboring someone's foot fungus and flicked boogers) with LOTS of room not matter if I brought a 500-lb. steer or a 9-pound Chihuahua-turned-football! I sort of felt like I got someone else's room, I was stoked and even wanted to order overpriced food via room service to celebrate! Now it's time to check out the bed with the First Flop! And ... it ... is gonna be REAL hard to make that 11AM checkout time!

The room wasn’t ready by the 3:30pm check in time. When we did check in it reeked of bleach. We spent 2 nights there and the second morning it sounded like there was a dog fight downstairs. Overall, it’s about what I expected for the price.

Pet Friendly?

Room was great. Check in was professional. $20/dog for my 3 dogs was crazy. Together they weigh 24 lbs. Next time I will only bring my 120 lb Shepherd.

Long drive this day, so we got here at 11pm. Getting ready for bed and there were 3 guys that show up next door and were drinking out inform of there room. We couldn’t sleep. I went outside ask them to quiet down and we were trying to sleep. They didn’t, so I called the front desk, asked them to either take care of this or call the police. The hotel did nothing. I should have just called the police myself. Stay somewhere else.

This property was OK a lot more decent than the one I had originally picked that was shady and sketchy. I didn’t like the fact that the water was super hot in the sink. No cold water at all. The people upstairs were super noisy all night I felt like people were moving upstairs or some kind of loud movement all night between the hours of 1 AM and 4 AM. I found two hairs in the tub that were not mine because I clearly had not showered yet. I also flushed a roach, which was not something I wanted to see. I will definitely stick with Airbnb from now on.

I was a late night check-in after 3 days of working in 103° heat at a festival & was looking forward to a hot shower to clean up so I can get some good rest for a long roadtrip home the next morning So I checked in, decompressed for a bit, & went to run a hot shower but alas, no hot water. Called the front desk & she didn't seem to be very surprised...more like she fumbled on her response & stated she'd let engineering know in the morning. Ok...well, i am going to be checking out early morning so that doesn't help. She did not even offer to move me into the other building that night. Instead i attempted to wipe off three days of sweat with a cold wet wash cloth, crawled into bed and sat uncomfortably & tried to watch tv til i was able to relax...kinda hard without a hot shower to ease sore muscles. In the morning, still, not a drop of warm water. So i got dressed, & went to use the hairdryer to at least smoothe out my bangs and calm the bed-head...but...the hairdryer in the room only blows cold air. At that point, i gave up, grabbed my bag & went to check out & get my deposit back. It was at this point the girl at the front desk offered to "move me" into a room in the main building so i could take a shower but it was too late as i had to get moving before the heat of the day In the end, I only got a partial refund, not even half, just some. The manager does not care about that silly little law regarding "implied warranty of habitability" that applies to hotels too

After a long, sweltering day, all I wanted was a shower, only to discover the bathroom only had lukewarm water; no hot water at all. So not only did I go to bed feeling gross, there was still no hot water in the morning. I did find a cockroach on the floor in the bathroom though; otherwise, nice place.
