The landhaus Kössel provided a wonderful stay for our family trip of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) to visit the Füssen and algau area to see Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. The breakfast was reasonable priced and had a great spread of options, my favorite being the option to boil your own egg. The rooms were spacious and provided some of the most stunning views of the area. Truly a top-notch one of a kind experience. The staff was also very helpful and the evening after hours check in process was helpful.

We enjoyed our stay (en route) immensely. It was a small holiday in itself. It is a stone's throw from a wonderful lake (took an early morning swim), and also enjoyed the small natural pond with belongs to the collection of buildings that comprise the Landhaus. This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Straight out of a fairytale with horses on site, cows next door, a beautiful lake in walking distance—picture perfect! We liked the space in the apartment, the rustic style and balcony, the natural pool, and the proximity to the lake. There was a good selection of restaurants in the area. Public transport to Füssen and the castles was simple but we needed to check schedules because buses are infrequent on weekends.
