Anniversary nightmare

Called multiple times to the front desk before arriving and no one ever answered. We get to the place, looks run down! Find out that even staying there because I have a vehicle there’s a daily charge to park. Finally get checked in because I couldn’t check in even 15 mins early, get to the room there’s MOLD on the skirt of the bed, on the floor, and wall! Towels were wet when we went to use them. Clogged drain, like not draining at all in the shower, and floors felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. You have people banging on your door in the middle of the night. This place had no customer service whatsoever! Definitely not worth the price I paid to stay here! 0/10 do NOT recommend! Sucks that our anniversary getaway was with this place :(

Looks a little rough; great service & beach access

Because the hotel is right on the beach, the salt air has definitely had an effect on the room. Other than the natural damage of constant humidity and salt air, the room was clean and spacious. The toilet was clogged when we arrived, but the staff was quick to send someone to fix it and we didn't have issues after that. The beach access was right across the street and so convenient for our party.

Absolutely terrible

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The property was rundown and dirty. The staff was unfriendly and unresponsive. The breakfast food ran out, the trash cans were overflowing. We asked staff to refill water and waffle batter and were ignored. The beds in the rooms were small (not even a double) and there was no blanket, only a sheet. The shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty. The floors were dirty and the doors stuck. I can’t believe they charge for this place!

Awful. The man that runs the hotel was rude from the start. Very argumentative. Anything you said to him he had to argue about. Customer service lacking. Dirty hotel. Don't book here.

They pulled 69.50 more and a 15.00 dollars parking charge which not stated when we booked.We are trying to get back the 69.50 they charge us and been holding and talking to them they just put us on hold for the longest and then send us to someone else we do not recommend this place. The doorr was extremely hard to open and the shower head was full of lime build up and spraied everywhere buy overall it was an ok stay. The pictures definitely look better than real life though

The hidden fee of $15.00 per night to park in the Wingate by Wyndham parking lot. There should not have been a fee for that, it's the first time ever this type of hidden fee was thrown in at check in time. This vacation had been planned for a while, so I felt stuck to pay it being over 300 miles from home. It's a shame this is aloud

Doors are broken, very hard to open. Male staff is VERY RUDE. Not nice at all. Pictures online are not what you get. The facility is very run down and old. I took my kids on vacation and the male at the facility seen us unable to open the door. He ran over to us from the office in the middle of the night. One I am a single mother with 4 of my children, two he didn’t identify himself, he let himself into our room when I was unloading them and it was really darks. I had kids still sitting in the car and this man ran up unidentified and starts yelling at me about breaking his doors that were already broken. He said I deactivated one of the cards by putting a phone on top of it. So if cards weren’t working it was my fault. I tried to explain there was no phone near it until he ran into my room like a maniac and scared my 3 yr old boy who was watching that phone. He put the phone down fast to get away from him. He didn’t let me speak, just kept going on and on about how I could have broke his door. Mind you that door was heavy as hell and I’m not even 5ft and not muscular at all. There was no possible way I can break the door but he continued to yell at me telling me I needed to scan the card 3 or more times. He kept trying himself and it wasn’t working for him either, and the door knob needs to be turned upside down for it to open. It’s not like a regular doorknob. Which they didn’t tell us upon check in. We tried to get in and could tell everybody was having the same issue.

It was clean, employees at check in were nice, even after dealing with a very rude customer, one who would in no way be appeased. Mgr actually brought my drivers license to my room after I left it at the front desk. He saved me from missing my cruise! The issue with the rude customer was due partly to a language barrier between the front desk employee & a very frustrated, rude customer. All in all, I was disappointed with the somewhat dilapidated appearance of the room, but it was clean. I was just expecting better conditions
