Another lovely, older hotel. We found the sheets and towels at every hotel very soft and comfortable. The hotel provided parking up a hill. The elevator required two different lifts. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was with in a short walk of shopping, live music and many restaurants.

The property was clean and in the perfect location. Only complaint was that the rooms were very hot. A fan was provided but the short cord did not allow it to be moved in front of the window to let cool air in.

The only redeeming things about this hotel are the bar downstairs and its location in proximity to the train and Eyre Square. Our booking was misplaced when we arrived, but the staff was really kind and offered us a free drink while they looked for it. The room was nothing like the photos, it was very grungy and small in comparison to what we thought we were getting. The room was covered in dust. The desk and shelf in the closest clearly had not been cleaned for some time. It was odd that the towel rack is inside the shower, leaving any unused towels to get moist. The worst of it was the stained mattresses. There was no fitted sheet on the bed, just a thin sheet to cover the mattress, and when that sheet lifted you could clearly see yellow and brown stains all over the mattress. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra to stay elsewhere.

Dry nice quaint hotel within walking distance to the train station. Highly recommend for its walkability to Galway Center. Breakfast was very basic and self serve, would recommend finding a Local restaurant.

The hotel is in walking distance from the bus/train station and the Dock to get to ferry. Staff is very polite and accommodating to unusual request like placing the med in the fridge safely. None of the hotels in Ireland provide a small fridge which would have been perfect to store drink or meds. Breakfast food was very good though not too many varieties.

The hotel is centrally located in Galway. Everything is within walking distance yet it is tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. The food and drinks at the hotel are delicious and the staff is accommodating. Something to note is that the heater in the room automatically turns off in the middle of the night, so the room got chilly during the wee hours of the night. I told the staff this and they kindly provided me a second comforter and portable heater for my room. I appreciated the extra service the staff went!
