Step into your new favorite place to call home in Gatlinburg, TN! This is a two-bedroom genuine Log Cabin located in a private setting in the desirable Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg, TN. The decor adds to the charm and elegance of the cabin. The cabin is constructed of hand-hewn logs and features hand-carved wood trim, both inside and out. The three-levels of this well decorated cabin include a long list of comforts and amenities.

Two king size bedroom suites and a sleeper sofa will comfort you after those long days of hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Each bedroom suite has a walk out deck on its level, closet, 2 dressers, Roku TVs and attached ensuite, so unpack those clothes and make yourself at home.

The Living Room on the main level is home to a Queen sized sofa sleeper, a loveseat double recliner, and a single recliner, and a 65 inch 4k Roku TV and DVD player. Off of the living room is a sitting area/ office with desk. Grab your favorite book and enjoy your surroundings. We also have a selection of books and games for your enjoyment. Free Wi-Fi is provided if you need to bring your work along with you, or just search any of the attractions that are nearby.

The Living room boasts a gas fireplace to keep you warm on those chilly days and nights. Fireplace season is during cooler months typically October through March.

Also on the Main level, you will find a fully appointed kitchen which includes all of the dishes, pots, and pans you could want. We even provide Instant Pot, griddle, blender, a crock-pot and spices! You should have no trouble cooking in if that's your preference.

Entertainment options abound. A game room which includes a custom log pool table, 2 recliners and electric fireplace, and multicade with 60 classic video games, 4K Roku TV/DVD and stereo system will keep kids as well as adults happy. And after a full day of exploring the mountains, you will be excited to relax in our soothing hot tub.

Three levels of covered decks allow one to take in the tranquil setting of this cabin and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Enjoy nature in our serene back yard. Swing on the porch swing as you enjoy the peaceful surroundings! Looking out onto the yard, you may even spot a bear! Magnificent seasonal views of the Great Smokies especially from the top deck/bedroom suite.

Bear Moon Cabin is located in the sought after Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg. It is located just 1.6 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the sttip of attactions there. We are 1 mile to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge and amusement park. Take the bypass for a quick (and beautiful) 30 minute trip to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
There are three club houses which include outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, game room, tennis courts , and playground equipment all included in your rental. (Swimming pools open Memorial Day and stay open through Labor Day or as long as the weather allows.)

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Gorgeous views of the mountians. Close proximity to both Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Clear and easy communication with owners, which meant the world. Would 100% book again!!!

Very quaint cabin. Clean and comfortable. It was too cold out to use the hot tub or really enjoy the outdoor amenities but they seemed nice. Hemma and Erik are great hosts and provide good information. Location was perfect-not far from downtown and close to Ober Mountain. Driveway could be tricky if there was snow or ice but we didn’t have that issue. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

We enjoyed that log cabin with its cute decor. the kitchen was well-equipped as were the bedrooms. Both bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. The living room area was nice with a big screen TV and fireplace. We liked the decks on each level.

We had a fabulous 25th wedding anniversary celebration at this cabin. Hosts were awesome. Hemma, host stayed on the phone with us while we were driving because we got turned around on road. She insured we arrived safely. We saw bears almost every day at property. Hot tub was a bonus.

We were in a pinch and needed to find a new place to stay immediately and the owners came to our rescue. They were so friendly and accommodating. They were also very easy and quick to communicate.The home is cozy, welcoming, and extremely cozy. Very well stocked. Would definitely recommend to others for a stay.

We loved our stay here! The owners were great with communication. We got to see bears at the cabin which was super cool! Everything is close to the cabin which was great. We just loved the area and there is so much to do and so many trails. Loved the welcome binder the owners left because it was super helpful as well! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Really loved the hot tub - soaking after a long day was awesome! The lights on the porch were great! Loved the swing as well. Just all around great place!

Was in the perfect vicinity of things to do or local town. Everything was clean and very welcoming. We enjoyed Howards, blue moose, believe it or not tour, speed works exotic tour, Ripley’s mountain coaster and the aquarium. Everything was amazing. We got a lot of pictures. Perfect place for 50th Bday girls trip. We had a great time sitting and visiting on one of the three balconies. Close trip to downtown Gatlinburg. Easy drive to Cad’s Cove. Comfy beds and everything you need in a rental. Would stay again. Thank you Bear Moon Cabin.

Excellent Cabin and Vacation

The cabin is very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. We loved sitting on the decks spending time in the mountains and relaxing. The cabin is a perfect location for Gatlinburg, Pigeon forge, or the National parks. The Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for 4 days. The owners are very responsive and courteous if you need anything. We highly recommended and look forward to future vacations at the cabin.

Cabin was lovely and was a very good stay. Somewhat outdated but overall a good place for a vacation. Kitchen flooring slipping apart, shower liners look 10yr old and busting seams, along with cobwebs in the rafters, and hot tub seemed old, jets blowing poorly and 2 blowing well, and water was cloudy once opened, and driveway was pretty steep but that’s just how it is in the mountains. However, the place was mostly clean and centric to Gatlinburg, the beds wore very comfortable and the cabin was super cozy. I would place this as a contender to come back to again

Weekend Trip To Gatlinburg

The property was very convenient to Gatlinburg and only a short drive to Pigeon Forge. It was very clean with comfortable beds. Can’t ask for much more out of a stay. We were very impressed and would stay again!

Wonderful Spring Break Getaway

We had a great stay at Bear Moon Cabin! The cabin was immaculately clean, cozy and perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the mountain views and it was the perfect home base for exploring Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well as downtown Gatlinburg. Check in/check out was a breeze and excellent communication from the host!

Romatic getaway

Cabin was beautiful! Hot tub was great! Cabin was well decorated. They have a coal grill outside. Would loved to have had a propane grill on the deck. Mountains are steep we are from Florida so we had to adjust to the steep hills. I was so excited the cabin was still decorated for Christmas it was beautiful. We bought coffee k cups as they only had flavored ones. Bring lotion our skin got dry from the cold Great ice maker never ran out of ice. Game room was a lot of fun! We recommend staying here..Uber eats delivers here so that was a bonus.

We spent New years week at Bear Moon & I was not disappointed one bit! It’s very quaint and cozy. We had plenty of room for everyone. Even cooked New years lunch. Played games & the pool table was awesome, too! And contact with the host was on point!
