Nice hotel. Friendly Staff.
Pros:Room comfort, decore, movie and entertainment selection.
Cons:Consideration for women wishing to put on makeup and drying hair.
Mirrors & PowerPoint access were not set up to assist this at all.
Location:Would appreciate a transfer shuttle bus to/from airport and Georgetown.
The hotel was very comfortable. The decor very pleasing. I had a problem with in-house dinning (meals very late). When the meal did finally arrive, the quality and flavour was very good.
After three very late meals in a row, I emailed a complaint. Management contacted me immediately and apologised sincerely and assured me that the F & B staff will be spoken to and every effort made to ensure this will not happen again... and it did not happen again.

Lagoon room was great
Pros:The lagoon room which had direct access to the pool.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant, staffs were friendly and overall cleanliness was good. However as i had child with me, i would have preferred if the room was aired out a bit more as there was a stale cigarette smell in the room. Perhaps i should have specifically requested for a non smoking room, so not the hotel's fault in this case.

Very nice hotel for the family
Loved the Hard Rock Hotel rooms were clean and modern. The kids loved the water slides and swimming pools. The free shuttle bus service to the night markets was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Stayed in the Lagoon deluxe suite, would definitely recommend in order to have the best experience.
Hit the beach and work on your tan in the sun loungers (chaise longues) or relax in the shade with cabanas (surcharge) and umbrellas. Pamper yourself with a treatment at the full-service spa and enjoy amenities at Hard Rock Hotel Penang like a complimentary water park and a complimentary children's club. There are 2 restaurants on site, as well as a coffee shop/café and a snack bar/deli. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include 3 bars/lounges, a beach bar, and a poolside bar. WiFi and wired Internet are free in public spaces. This luxury resort also offers an outdoor pool, a children's pool, and a health club. Self parking is free. Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this 5-star George Town resort.
