We had an excellent stay. Hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was especially good. The poor shower pressure in the room would be our only complaint! Would stay again.

It was short trip and my first time in Glasgow and my first staying at a Marriot. It was lovely, the room was ideal and the breakfast included was great. I will definitely return again if I ever go back to Glasgow

We stayed in a room on the first floor and there was a constant droning noise all night even with the room air-conditioning turned off. I would avoid the lower floors now

Good food, good people, bad bad bathrooms

A bang on middle review because on the one hand the staff are absolutely brilliant, the food was excellent and we had breakfast lunch and dinner here. Hotel is super let down by aged, dirty bathrooms with broken fittings. Also woke several times through the night very cold as the bedding seems cheap and thin. With a little spend this place could be great and I’d happily pay more if I didn’t feel like I need a shower from using the shower…

Good location, great staff, nice room, but absolutely horrible mattress! I don’t mind a firm mattress but this one was awful (made noise and was crunchy hard).

Room was good but lock didn’t work, but was able to use metal door chain. Area around hotel not salubrious, need to get taxi to main shopping centre. Breakfast excellent and although quite expensive is value for money. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was incredibly clean and spacious. We loved the amenities provided. (Hairdryer, ironing board and iron, glasses, tea/coffee, soaps etc) The breakfast was top notch and generous. The staff on check-in and in general were so polite and great at clarifying times for breakfast, bar and the pool. We used the pool on 2 nights of our stay and also loved it!! And being on Argyle Street we were only a few minutes away from the action of Glasgow at a very good price!! We loved it so much and have vowed to return!!
