It was all quite basic and dated. Both the shower and the sink didn’t drain, a few lights didn’t work. Limited plug sockets. We could hear the person next door snoring all night and then playing very loud music from 6am due to a door in the room, which presumably if unlocked would join the rooms together. However, the location was good, it was clean and the staff were nice.

Close to Theatre, friendly staff, ok room

Although they have notices up to warn clients there are renovation works in progress, I wasn’t expecting a workman to just let himself into my room! (thankfully I was fully clothed!) I didn’t request 3 beds in the room & it was a bit tight to squeeze past the wall to get into the double, (room is not big enough for double & twin combo). Bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Toilet separate to washroom/shower, very old, scruffy and in need of this upgrade. Car park in the basement was really useful (£8) Staff were lovely & helpful. Overall for one night, 5min walking distance to The Kings Theatre, I would stay here again, but ask for a more suitable room (hopefully a renovated one!)
