Welcome to Kilifi Beach House. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Check the surf from bed. Walk to the beach. Kilifi is a sustainable two-storey home with stunning views of the Indian Ocean located walking distance from the pristine beaches of Margaret River. Come and enjoy the quintessential Margaret River lifestyle at Kilifi. The house is powered by the sun, with a battery system attached to provide power through the night, and a 7kW Electric Vehicle charger for guest use. Upstairs contains the master bedroom with ensuite and separate toilet. The upstairs kitchenette has a microwave, kettle, toaster and a bar fridge, it affords privacy from the rest of the house for that early morning coffee or evening drink. The 3 seater sofa bed is a great place to kick back and enjoy the view, as is the balcony with bar style seating for 6. From the upstairs bedroom, living area and balcony, guests can check the surf and enjoy uninterrupted views of perfect sunsets over the Margaret River coast. Work remotely in style with our recently installed dedicated workspace! Private ocean-view desk in upstairs living space, part of the self-contained suite with kitchenette, balcony, and ensuite bedroom. 25 Mbps Wi-Fi for video calls, and lots of options for a stroll on your breaks. The ground level contains two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, six seater dining table and a large lounge suite. Outside is a sunny sheltered courtyard with a large BBQ for guest use. The courtyard is secured by a fence and pets are welcome by arrangement. Thoughtful design ensures that guests enjoy a comfortable beachside holiday. Linen and towels are provided. Outside pets are welcome by arrangement (fee applies) , and the outdoor area is fully fenced. The living spaces upstairs and downstairs are equipped with split system air conditioning for both heating in winter and cooling in summer. There is also a slow combustion wood heater at the property. Firewood is available for a fee via prior arrangement. The whole house and yard is available for guest use. Caretaker accommodation is onsite in a separate dwelling at the rear of the property, and the design affords privacy for guests and caretakers alike. Check in via Keysafe. We are more than happy to recommend things to do throughout the booking process and during your stay. Kilifi Beach House is a two-storey coastal beach house in Gnarabup, Margaret River and it is a short walk from pristine beaches, a fantastic local bar/restaurant, and a beachfront cafe with a stellar view. Kilifi Beach House is 10 minutes drive to Margaret River and is conveniently located close to the region's wineries, restaurants, caves, forests and other attractions. Kilifi Beach House is ideal for couples, or two families/groups to stay comfortably. For those wanting to explore... The Margaret River Region is best explored by private vehicle. If you would prefer not to drive, there is a reliable local taxi service available. Fares are approximately $30 into town. There are also many quality tour providers in the region, including wine and brewery tours, surf lessons, abseiling adventures and everything in between. For those wanting to stay off the roads... The Gnarabup/Prevelly area has excellent cycle and footpath access and visitors can easily fill their itinerary with activities such as surfing, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and cycling without driving. Gnarabup reserve is a beautiful area across the road from Kilifi with space to kick the footy and a playground for the little and big kids. "The Common" Bar and Restaurant are just the other side of the reserve and "The White Elephant" Cafe is located at Gnarabup beach, a short walk from Kilifi. Both these venues serve delicious food and The Common has a great selection of craft beers, a carefully selected wine list and delicious cocktails. Caretaker Accomodation is on site in a separate building at the rear of the property. Kilifi House and The Loft afford privacy from caretakers through thoughtful design, private entries and private outdoor areas.

We loved our stay here, the house was perfect and had everything we needed. The backyard was enclosed and our dog had lots of room to run around, they even had a kennel for her. We were close to the beach, the park and a short walk to cafes. We loved our time here and would definitely come again!

Kilifi Beach House Xmas

The property was perfect for our family; three adults and a baby. The upstairs rooms gave my son space and peace away from the baby. The grounds were perfect for our dogs. We were within walking distance of the beach and the White Elephant. The house was simple and perfect for relaxing before and after swimming. We had absolute privacy and the house remained amazingly cool during a super hot Christmas.

Family fun holiday stay

The property was easy to stay in with plenty of room to spread out. Consideration for the family pet dog was welcome. The only issue was parking in the carport was a wee bit tight. Everything was on hand and we were able to enjoy our stay and visit the beach and join in family events quite easily.

A wonderful place to stay!

Kilifi house was the perfect coastal getaway for my family. The kids really enjoyed Prevelly Beach, exploring Ngilgi Caves, Margaret River town and Sunflowers Animal Farm. The house has an incredible outlook on the upstairs balcony with a comfortable and accommodating interior. A wonderful home and location!

5 star family home comforts

We were looking for a quick family getaway by the coast and this villa didn’t disappoint. Spacious, Comfortable, well equipped kitchen, functional living and dining room layout. The 2nd level is a great area for a spectacular sunset sundowner without the hassle of running back home to get the kids in the bath, simply step back inside. It’s also the little touches like the useful tourist information , the little tech essentials (hellocharge cables that I forgot to bring), the eco friendliness and the overall comfort that makes you feel warmly welcomed and at home. WA at its best

I took my brother and sister in law with my children for a trip to show them the best of WA. The house was perfect for it as the balcony gave them uninterrupted views out to the ocean, where we were lucky enough to watch many whales in action...such a special moment. The master bedroom has perfect views too and it allowed them to have some separation from the children who slept downstairs. It’s a large house with a very well equipped kitchen catering for everything you need. The location is walkable to local cafes and we had a private winery tour company pick us up for the day direct from the door. I highly recommend the house and owners and look forward to staying again.

What you see, is what you get.

When searching for a property to suit 6 adults, just a bit out of Margaret River, this one ticked all the boxes. Plenty of room for 6, with separate living area up stairs. Only a short walk to the beach and the local tavern (which serves delicious meals, has great service, but a little pricing, even for Margaret River standards). Great outdoor area, even though we really didn’t get to enjoy it due to the weather, but that’s southern WA this time of year. Convenient too that tour companies will pick up from the front door and drop off - great for those winery tours. Highly recommend for a group and would stay again if ever we make our way over from the east coast again. My only suggestion would be to supply face washes with the towels. Great location and house!

We had a lovely 3 day stay at Kilifi. There were 3 couples, so with all rooms having double beds it was ideal. They have everything you need, we just provided our food, everything else was there. The house is very clean, and lovely clean bed linen and towels. Beautiful view from the top room, which was great for our couple that came from the UK, they were very impressed with the area.
