Cool spot right on The Rouge River. If I were going to Gold Beach again for clamming or crabbing, I’d stay there again. It’s a very modest facility. But that’s fine for me. I’m not the fussy type. The room could have been cleaned a bit better, but it wasn’t anything that I couldn’t handle myself. The beds were nice and comfortable. The bed is what matters to me personally.

Affordable with an awesome view

Average room with a great view of the river and bridge. Got to watch the seals from the dock outside. Huge tv in the room and perfect if you travel with your own device (apple tv). We really enjoyed our stay here.

As a single senior woman, the only way to have fresh air in my room at night was to leave the slider open..... which didn't do since the room was too easily accessible from the "outdoor space". The walls are paper thin 😳 so I heard things I wish I hadn't. When the housekeepers clean, they leave the room doors ajar and with the wind, they CONTINUALLY slam witheach gust.

We’ve stayed before, of course, no acknowledgment of a return guest. I don’t know. The place looks a little rundown. Grass was all dead out front of the water view, the door in our room, barely close without slamming it. No food and beverage even for breakfast. I feel like you could do a few things and charge more money and increase the experience and your profitability.

Nice location right on the river. Receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. The overall condition of the hotel looked a bit dated and worn. We would definitely stay there again.
