This place is very run down. It started at check in. The power was out and couldn’t check in. Then I went back at 3:15 and the room wasn’t ready. It’s very old. We came back to the room after being down town and the room smelled like sewer. The front desk guy didn’t even try to help. He said to spray some air freshener. They over booked so couldn’t move us. All the other hotels were sold out.

During my stay, the power went out and was not restored. No notice was given at check-in that this might occur. When we asked staff why the lights were out, we were told that this happens frequently due to weather conditions. While I understand that weather can be unpredictable, I believe appropriate precautions should be in place to ensure the safety and comfort of both guests and staff. Additionally, after running the water for over 20 minutes, it never became hot. We notified the front desk and were told to continue running the water until it heated up because “that’s how cold pipes are everywhere.” Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. I was particularly concerned for neighboring guests who had children and were required to remain in 30-degree weather with out a heater. Due to these circumstances, I do not plan to stay at this property again. Sincerely, Room 165

The entire experience was upsetting, the hotel itself is run-down, staff try but so did the crew of the Titanic. The wondow was broken in our firat room along with the window curtains, the front desk "wasnt sure what they needed to do to fix it". They seemed confused by the request for a different room. The bed was semi comfortable but we spent half the night worried about when the bed bugs might wake up. In the morning the power went off so the morning trip to the told was done by cellphone flashlight, no hot water because of course they have an electric instant hot water heater. Do i need to really say that we will not be returning?

Right off the freeway exit. 1 min from train station, 6 min from bearizona. Clean ,quiet, comfortable spacious rooms, friendly staff. 24 hr tea/ hot cocoa available. On site restaurant. Great deal for grand canyon visit !
