Quiet location. We enjoyed hearing the donkeys next door. Location was excellent with easy drive to town. The small a/c split unit in the kitchen was effective for the kitchen and the living room but not the bedroom. We reached out to Helen and were instructed to find a fan. Even with the small fans provided we were unable to cool the bedroom off to a comfortable sleeping temperature until we went to True Value in town and spent 55 on afan powerful enough to move the cooler air to the back of the house. The couch had hair on it and so did the floor when we arrived. Easily fixed with a sweep up, but the base boards and floor next to them need some attention. There was cracked/broken tile in the entryway to the bedroom which needs to be fixed. We were provided 1 washcloth and 4 bath towels for 3 people spending 4 nights. Coffee pot is very small… bring your own if you like to have more than 1 cup of coffee in the morning. We did enjoy the games/cards provided and the disc golf course and horse shoes.
