Beautifully renovated home with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake and the surrounding mountains! Nestled on over 3 private acres of land, this will be the perfect retreat for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy the open layout with million dollar views and 4 bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 12 (but can accomodate 14). The house is completely stocked with essentials and the entire house has been redecorated with modern mountain decor, new linens and towels, new beds and bedding and a new mattress in the master! We know you will love our home as much as we do! Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be considered with an additional $150 per stay.

Enjoy the beauty of the majestic Rocky Mountains and sparkling views of Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby by the cozy fireplace in the gorgeous open concept living area or outside on the spacious deck. You're likely to spot moose, elk, deer, hawks, hummingbirds, and the occasional eagle. Be ready for AMAZING evening sunsets, then take in the starry sky on a warm summer night while relaxing on the covered upper deck by the gas firepit, down in the yard by the outdoor bonfire pit or on the lower covered deck in the brand new hot tub! (Hot tub use is optional and can be added to your reservation for a $150 servicing/cleaning fee).

In the summer, Grand Lake is known for its many outdoor activities including golf, fishing, sailing, motorized boating, water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, hot springs & ATV trails. The West entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is also only 9 miles away.

In the winter, you are minutes away from 100+ miles of snowmobiler paradise in the Rocky Mountain National Park & world class ice fishing. You're also only 25 minutes away from Ski Granby Mountain (known for family skiing), 38 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Resorts, and 1.5 hours from Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. There are so many things to do and memories to make in Colorado's best-kept secret! In winter, a 4-wheel-drive is required due to terrain.

The house is conveniently located just 5 miles from Grand Lake Village where you can enjoy the charming rustic town with wooden walkways, and plenty of local shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. In the summer you can rent a motorized boat, peddle boat, kayak, canoe or SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) to get out on Grand Lake!

Highly recommend this location. The location was perfect and center to both the Grand Lake downtown and Granby area. Property was very clean and had all the amenities required for adults and kids. The host was quick to respond with any issues that arose and very helpful.

Best trip and VRBO house we've been in. The hosts were very accommodating. It was our 10 year anniversary and they left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. The house description is very true. It is very modern meets cozy. I have no complaints at all when it comes to this house or the host. If we go back to Colorado, this is the house we will be staying at again.

My wife and I were one of three couples who spent four nights at the property - a very enjoyable stay at that! The house was extremely clean and in very good order. The kitchen had everything one could need, the beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub relaxing (well worth the expense to heat it!). Our host, Megan, was terrific to work with. Her almost immediate replies to a couple of questions we had were greatly appreciated. Add in the proximity to shopping, hiking, golf, and other activities, as well as the beautiful views around the property and general area, renting this property was a great decision and we hope to rent it again in the future!

It was perfect! Beautiful home. Amazing kitchen. We had a toddler and he had everything he needed as well.. from high chair to plastic table ware. We had zero problems finding the home. Megan was very helpful and responded quickly with any questions we had. The hot tub was beautiful and the back porches were perfect for dining and hummingbird viewing! If I HAD to ask for anything it would be some more screens for the windows in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom as they got warm. Other than that the home was absolutely perfect and welcoming!

AMAZING

We got married in Rocky Mountain National Park this past weekend and chose to stay in Grand Lake with our family for the week. This house was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely manner.No matter where you look, the views from the house are breathtaking — it’s serene, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. The house was spotless, well-equipped with a variety of amenities, and ideal for both adults and kids. Our daughters (ages 2 and 4) had the best time exploring the property, swinging on the porch swing under the deck, and playing nature bingo!We saw plenty of wildlife, enjoyed dinners outside, made s’mores, and watched the sunsets from the deck — truly unforgettable moments.10/10 — we would absolutely stay here again!

Megan and Dave are fabulous hosts. They have thought about everything you could possibly need. Great communication when we had questions. So spacious

This is a beautiful property that is perfect for a multi-generational gathering. The generous sectional sofas in the living room and on the deck are ideal for languid hours of conversation, but there are also plenty of small places both inside and outside to have a quet moment alone to appreciate the views of two lakes, the mountains, and the forest that surrounds the property. On the summer solcitice we sat outside and marveled at the star studded sky with dear friends and family. It will long be a favorite memory.

Spring Break 2025

We took out family to ski at granby ranch. We were extremely pleased with the looks and cleanliness of the residence. Granby was a quick 20 minute drive and the rocky mountain national park is onlu 10 minites away such a great location and we had such a great time

Best yet!

We make it a priority to always have a winter vacation with family and friends. Many years we have came to Grand Lake. After our last house was unavailable for our time frame, we found this jewel! We all agree this is our new go to house. Everything was amazing from the views to the seclusion. We had three family’s on this vacation and everyone had their own living space while also conveniently being close ! We will be back!!

Annual ice fishing trip

Great property with plenty of space. Hot tub was very nice after long cold days on the ice. Winter was a challenge due to heavy snowfall the whole time we stayed and no plows came thru. The steep driveway and drifts of snow made it a little challenging getting vehicles to the house. All in all great house, clean, and awesome host! Definitely would stay here again.
