Great view from lovely big room with high ceilings. Not much choice in meal options. If you stay, ask for the "sll day bar menu" as well!

Disappointed paid over $400.00 per night the room was untidy and low spec. The Wait at the bars was far too long , I had to park my vechicle away from our room not what I expect from a hotel.

We liked the locality of the property, convenient to village. Unfortunately we found a number of minor 'faults' in our room ie: bathroom sink could not be used, bathroom heater not working. They were maintenance issues and as the complex is dated we feel these issues need to be addressed. Bed lovely and comfortable (although electric blanket on the bed this time of the year-July- would've been better!!) Shower excellent in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful and offered us another room for our stay. We chose not to transfer as only in the room overnight.

A very special set up right on the beachfront with spectacular views and the most genuine friendly and helpful staff I have come across in NZ. Excellent restaurant and bar and close walking distance to Pancake rocks and blowholes. Highly recommend.
