this is now our favorite hotel of all time, and we are OLD! staff very kind, they compose great text messages! the room offers every amenity anyone could want, including great space management with a FULL kitchen and a very modern bathroom. the location, location, location is MARVELOUS as well. no downside -- we will DEFINITELY return!!

What a one-of-a-kind, magical place atop the majestic Mississippi River! The stunning, sweeping views surely make you feel like an eagle so the place is well named. The sunrises are breathtaking & the moonlight river is surreal. Add to that the variety of autumn colors we saw during our October stay & it makes for a truly unforgettable & special experience. But even more special is the fact my 96 year old beautiful Mother got to return to stay above the very scenic overlook she had a professional photographer take a picture of her after the summer she graduated from high school in 1948 an amazing 77 years earlier! Furthermore, coming a 2200 mile journey from Malibu, California where she now lives with me (her daughter), was quite a homecoming indeed! Thank you, Eagle's View Owner & Staff for making our "homecoming" the trip of a lifetime! 🙏 🌈

We got there later at night. No lights to see our room number. Bed was stiffer than the floor. No extra blankets. One thin comforter. Thank god my husband and I brought blankets. The walls so thin that we couldn't sleep because of whoever was next to us was loud. TV kept cutting in and out. Hot water did not stay hot very long. After a long day of driving it was a pure disappointment considering all we wanted to do is relax in comfort. Also not having an onsite person to get a hold of is very inconvenient.

Wow, let me start with say i owe this place a apology. When i first booked the room I said its a basic hotel/motel with a great view. Boy was i wrong! Thos place is breath taking yes the view was a huge part of the stay bit the beds were comfortable the rooms were clean. There was a sauna 😳. Rhe fire pit came with everything one needed to build a fire and enjoy the night. They have a grill and bags tfor entertainment. Id recommend this place to my mom to my co workers to my siblings and many more. It is a beautiful hidden gems. Thanks for the amazing peaceful resets.

Loved that this was pet friendly and secluded. Beautiful views and the outdoor spaces were excellent. There was fire wood for a fire, and even grills to grill food. Would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be returning.

This place has its quirks--it's an old motel that's been well renovated, but don't expect it to have the smoothed-over slickness of a fancy chain motel. Look at the photos, and you'll know what to expect. What it does have going for it is an unrivaled view of the Mississippi from high atop a bluff and lovely places to sit outdoors.

We loved everything about the place. The view is spectacular along with the sitting area to enjoy this hidden treasure. We did run into a problem getting into our room. after calling the number on the office door several times we finally received a call with our code and room number. We waited around for an hour and were on our way out to find another place to stay when Susie called us back. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
