A Small But Vital Service

My room was clean and comfortable; however, I was disappointed to find only a single box of Kleenex in the room. The onus of having to translocate Kleenex between the bathroom and the sitting/sleeping area, based upon my needs and location within the room was an inconvenient and guest-unfriendly circumstance. Please consider resolving this matter. I’m sure there are other guests who share my observation. Otherwise, an accommodating experience.

We always stay in a family room when visiting the city for events. The Cambridge has been around for a long time. The family roommmaybe be a little smaller than some other hotels but it was clean, plenty of towels and a nice warm/hot shower even when you are the last one in line. Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was plenty. Worth the cost.

Great location, but in need of some love

We have stayed at Cambridge suites for over 20 years and things remain the same - great check in, big suites designed really well, decent breakfast, perfect location, but also the same are the carpets and the furniture. This is the first time where we’ve stayed that there was a significant musty, smell walking into the room that didn’t go away. The furniture has seen better days and the pillows were really hard, although the bed itself was comfortable. I would love to stay here again in the future, but I do hope that management is looking at making some upgrades because they’re very much in need.

Amazing service! They let us check in early and were able to store our luggage after checking out. Breakfast was good. The only con was the walls were a bit thin and there were quite a few other guests on the floor who could be quite loud at times.

Convenient downtown location, with lots of options for food and activities in downtown Halifax. The green breakfast is decent. Better than expected for free, doesn’t include and meats, but the rest is absolutely fine. The rooms are clean and run of the mill for the price. What was once 100/night is now double that, with the same standards. It’s fine. Would go back. Parking isn’t cheap or easy, but that’s also a broader Halifax problem
