Hatsukaichi Hotels with Hot Tub in Room

Over all it’s a great experience. Facilities are very clean well preserved and maintained. Staff is very friendly and if you add the Kaiseki dinner (recommended) it can be served in your room. They have and all you can drink and eat of ice cream terrace where you can see the famous Tori gate in the water and the shrine is a few meters away. I got the ocean view room and it was incredible. Has a wooden shower room which is nice. It’s costly but I suggest you live the experience (specially the sunset at the terrace enjoying a few drinks). The only reason I wouldn’t stay again is because there is certain modernity in the room and I prefer a more classic, old ryokan experience with the same luxury and comfort but a more classic style. Oh and if you have tattoos this ryokan doesn’t let you use the public onsen areas but they can program you 45 min in a private onsen which is nice.

Excellent Hotel with lots of amenities and a wonderful onsen/ sauna. Great location for catching the 20 minute ferry to Miyajima island which is a beautiful, must visit. Going to peace museum is a lot more of a trek / train ride but it’s not too bad. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Optimal location right next to the ferry. Spacious and clean room with beautiful view and atmosphere. The service was warm and helpful.
