A good accommodation close to the center

A very convenient accommodation, close to the city center. you have everything you need for a short and medium long stays. I would definitely recommend it. parking would be a problem unless you want to pay for it.

Owner forgot to clean for arrival

Check in was 3pm. I had pre arranged with the property for an early check in at 1pm so I could go on a day trip. I was horrified when I opened the door to the apartment and it hadn’t been cleaned. I initially thought I was in the wrong place. I rang the owner who said her cleaner forgot. Cleaner came over and did it in about 20-30 minutes with her young kid so it wasn’t properly cleaned. It’s a code on a keypad to get in which you are emailed before you check in so I just didn’t feel safe that it wasn’t a new code for every guest. The owner tried to contact me the day I was leaving to offer me a bottle of wine but I had left early for ferry. Location is ok bus outside to ferry, airport and bus terminal. Short stroll down to the centre.

J'ai eu la bonne idée de contacter le responsable des appartements en Crète car tout est informatique et le code d'entré pour l'appartement ne m'avait pas été transmis. Sinon, nous aurions dormi dehors. L'appartement n'est pas conçu correctement dans la salle de douche. La vidange de la douche était bouché, pleines de cheveux et de calcaire qui inondait tout. Nous avons nous débouchés cela car cela n'a jamais été fait. Autre problématique, les luminaires extérieurs (led) du Dorado Accomodation éclairait tout l'appartement et donnait directement sur le lit pendant toute la nuit. Il n'y avait aucune possibilité d'obstruer cette puissante lumière. Pas de possibilité d'accrocher ou de ranger les serviettes de bain ou autres, ni balais de toilette et balais pour ramasser l'eau à la suite des engorgements du débordement de la douche. Coin repas inexistant!
