Room service time was limited. They dont serve coffee in Room service. No creamer for coffee in rooms. Swimming pool tiles broken and they hurt your feet a lot. Pool side food stall open 12 pm which is very very late.

First time visiting punta mita. Chose this resort because of its high rated reviews. It's located about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta airport and about 30 minutes south of sayulita. Although there are lots of Americans and Canadians, It seems they cater more to upper middle class Mexican citizens (which is a good thing). They don't provide shuttle pickup from Puerto Vallarta airport. They gave me information to a company they work with but we took an Uber instead. Upon arrival we were greeted with cocktails and quickly checked in. We got the ocean front Junior suite. It has lots of space and a nice balcony with an amazing 180 ocean view. The room has a mini fridge that's wall stocked with soft drinks sparkling water and beer. On a side note It seems like they're pushing hard to get guests to sign up for their timeshares. We decided it's not worth our time. The resort has a good main buffet and another smaller buffet. They also feature some specialty dining restaurants: Japanese, French, steakhouse, Mexican, and a "new" seafood restaurant. All are included without extra charges. Reservation is required for the Japanese, steakhouse, and seafood. They're very strict on having reservations although even if the restaurant is empty it won't allow you to be seated. It didn't make a lot of sense in my opinion. We literally sad into restaurants that had barely a couple of tables occupied yet they turned away so many guests unnecessarily. I had issues with the Rooms but Daniela and Rodrigo went out of their way to get us accommodate and find us the perfect or semi perfect room If it wasn't for my previous review the front desk would not have upgrade us to VIP statues @ the Pancho restaurant the captain on the floor was rude and we missed dinner that day following day we came and once again He try to tell us no tables available when the dinning room was semi empty , @ the Express restaurant FLOYD was very attentavie and polite the server that took our order was rude and just came back to see if we needed more drinks almost at the end of our Meal , that server was rude but FLOYD took care of everything from serving the food and desserts and clean up plates Great guy that FLOYD he should be upgraded to a server .

Honestly this hotel is pretty run down. Service is great they do their best and the communal areas are fine but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Staff is very good and they have decent drinks. I went for a wedding. Wedding was awesome

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because the online ratings for this hotel are shockingly misleading. From the moment we walked into our room, it was clear something was off. The room was absolutely filthy — stains on the bed, curtains, and pillows, plugs hanging dangerously from the walls, and visible dust caked onto the fan and air conditioning units. The bathtub was surrounded by a black grime and didn’t drain at all. The pool, which looked inviting in the photos, was surrounded by a thick, slippery layer of slime that made it completely unusable. We felt uncomfortable and unsafe staying here and left shortly after checking in. Thankfully, we were able to get a room at the Conrad next door, which was spotless and beautiful — a complete 180 in terms of cleanliness and quality. While the front desk staff was polite, they were unwilling to offer any refund or compensation for our early departure, which was deeply frustrating given the condition of the hotel. I genuinely believe many of the positive reviews are not reflective of reality. I recommend looking elsewhere unless the hotel undergoes a serious cleaning and management overhaul.

Spectacular views and resort

Property was beautiful and large. Food and restaurants were great. The staff was ok, some wete just going through the motions but it was Easter Day. The only thing I really disliked was being on the beach and the constant harassment from the vendors. I know the resort doesn't own the beach, but it really ruins the beach vibe.

Iberostar is an easy hour ride from Puero Vallerta. The closet town was a town called Sayulita which was about 20 minutes. Sayulita was a magical cool little town. Iberostar was a very nice resort which could benefit from some room updating. The daytime lunch restaurant doubles as a night time steak house which was a 3/5. The food overall was good and had lot of options, but at an all inclusive level. The drinks were very good, especially the margaritas. The only beer at the resort is Dos Equis lager and amber. The pool and outdoor bars and beach were perfect for a relaxing sun filled vacation. I don’t think I would return to this exact Iberostar but would possibly visit others. Overall the vacation was an 8/10.

Book direct - not with Expedia: we had an issue upon arrival with our booking due to a booking error for which Expedia doesn't take responsibility. This was a stressful start and I strongly recommend to guests to book directly with the hotel and not with Expedia or any third party as you will be left stuck between the hotel and Expedia and end up paying the price. Hotel management was helpful trying to find a solution and warned us this happened before with Expedia. They will match Expedia's pricing if you ask! About the hotel: beautiful and safe beach location and staff is super friendly. My son and husband got really bad food poisoning which we sadly can only say must have happened in the hotel as we did not eat elsewhere. Some facilities feel a bit limited (no real water sports, gym and spa are very small, and entertainment shows are not that good, there was one bigger one but you had to pay a lot for it to attend. Overall an ok hotel but I would not give it 5 starts and will not go back.
