Nice Secluded Location

Amazing - Home Away From Home

The property provided my new husband and I am amazing honeymoon experience. It was wonderful! The hot tub was a little hard to get into, as I'm a bigger person, but it was still enjoyable, nonetheless!

Cabin in the woods.

Not my cup of tea. No Wi-Fi no tv reception. Bugs (stink bugs) found their way in the cabin everyday. Also a couple earth worms and honey bees. They didn’t come in the door. Lots of carpenter bees outside so sitting on the deck was not possible.

This place is amazing if your looking to get away from everything but who your with this is the place. It’s out of a Norman Rockwell painting the log cabin interior to the recurring bear theme. The bed is super comfortable hot tub grill and snacks round out the welcome home feel. We will definitely stay again.

I could bearly believe it

We were beary surprised at the amount of space and attention to detail. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Update your tourist binder though, some things no longer exist. Check out sassafras kitchen for breakfast and holtfield coffee as well

Nice getaway weekend

The entire process was very easy and efficient. The cabin and location were both great. The only thing I disliked was obviously something I should of expected but I spaced....the smell of a cabin. That was my fault too though by arriving right at sundown. We had no small sticks to start a fire the first night and the plug in refill in bathroom was almost empty. So that was the only smell but the next day, we had fire and the hot tub periodically throughout the day was wonderful. I love the fold up table and use of space throughout. The gas grill was great. I loved it all. I would say, take some DVDs you like bc there are some good ones but there is no WiFi. That is the point though to have complete peace. Next time I book, I'll try the other cabin up on top. Can't wait.

Relaxing

It took us a few to figure out how the remote worked for the TV/DVD player and the grill did not get very hot. Past those 2 very minor things, it was an amazing stay. Everything was clean and well stocked. There were water bottles, coffee, lighters, firewood, soap, towels, and more provided. It was very private. And the hot tub was very clean and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great cabin

This was just what the doctor ordered…. Quiet, cozy, and delightful. The cabin has everything we needed and was comfortable, and the hot tub, fire pit and privacy of the back porch was wonderful. Paula was great communicating about easy checkin and offered written directions inside as well. The wine and robes were also a really nice touch!! We will be back!!

Great stay

Clean, comfortable, great amenities, excellent stay. It's small but well-laid out and nicely decorated. No oven but has a microwave, toaster, well stocked with snacks, wine, and coffee supplies. Feels secluded, even though it's conveniently close to town. Pleasant deck with hot tub and fire pit and breakfast table, facing the woods. The shower is a bit tight and the bathroom door (folding door with slats) doesn't give much privacy. TV reception is limited but we didn't use it much and had a Roku stick for movies. Would be nice to add shower soap and a hair dryer. But overall, a great value!

Long Overdue Sister Time

We were impressed from the second we pulled in. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. You can’t help but be relaxed here. The best testament of this place I could give is we are two older women. If we’re not on our jobs, we are on our telephones, playing games, scrolling, or watching television. The entire time we were in this cabin, we didn’t even turn the TV on and only picked up our phones to see what time it was. every second was spent either on the deck in front of the fire or in the hot tub. We will definitely be back! And Paula, complements to you. We loved your communications, and how easy it is to get a hold of you if needed. You actually respond to your tenants when they reach out to you. Thank you for that.

We LOVE staying here! Perfect distance from home, away but not too far. And the best balance of cabin and camping with all comforts to rest, but grilling and hanging outside. Already looking forward to our next weekend away!

Comfy little cabin

This was our second stay at this cabin. Very comfy and relaxing. This time we ventured out some and found an amazing Amish bakery and went to see the Serpent Mound. Highly recommend for a couple getaway!
