This is more of a review for the Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki. When we originally booked and arrived at Oasis Hotel Waikiki, we were informed that they have an A/C issue and were then taxied over to the Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki instead. Oasis Hotel Waikiki waived our resort fees and paid for the taxi over to the Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki with the expenses there paid for. Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki was not well upkept and the hotel was in poor condition. We saw roach crawling over the bed and needless to say were not able to sleep at all that evening. Oasis Hotel Waikiki were friendly and we were only able to view the lobby so not much to talk about.

Fine for an overnight quick trip, but quite old.

Just an overnight stay before a cruise. Older building. Step in to soaker tub was quite awkward to get in/out. First time actually needed the pen and paper you find in hotels, and there was none. Just fine at the price point for our needs. If I was staying longer, would opt for a newer more upscale hotel. Good location, great service

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. The facilities need a major upgrade…the carpet is dirty, and we didn’t feel safe walking on the floor in bare feet. The shower was lukewarm and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. The best thing about the hotel was the staff.

We stayed here prior to a cruise. While not a name brand hotel such as Hilton. We had booked a king bed room but the staff informed us the room had a faulty AC and upgraded us to a larger room with double beds instead. Glad we took the offer because the larger room was nice. A continental breakfast was offered and was nice. After two days here we stayed one night at a Hilton Garden Inn and I considered the Hilton a downgrade. If we come back to Waikīkī we’re staying here!

Friendly staff, with helpful bus and other info. Convenient location, competitively priced even with $35 amenity fee hidden. Room was spacious and had a balcony. Because this hotel was smaller than many, the elevators were prompt. Breakfast was passable, but would be better if peanut butter was offered with jelly, and perhaps yogurt cups or boiled eggs. Pool was teeny-tiny and not open when I stayed.

Service was fantastic. Andrew was very friendly and helpful, so were the other employees. Our only complaints were the mildewy smell in our hotel room, the smelly bathroom curtains, squeaky bathroom door, and the TV had trouble turning on during the last couple days of our stay. The squeaky bathroom door was irritating because it would wake someone up if one of us was sleeping. The hotel is a bit dated but they did the best they could to make it clean for us.

This was our second stay at this property. Staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating. This is prime location in Waikiki and walking distance to restaurants, food trucks and beaches. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was some occasional noise at nights from the streets due to raucous crowds who probably had too much to drink but thats probably unavoidable. The daily breakfast is probably the only thing I can say that could be improved upon. Only cold cereal, toast, some fruits and juices are offered but it would be nice to have a protein and other options available given the daily resort fee of $35 for this breakfast. Not a deal breaker for me but something to consider if this is important to you and your family. I’d still definitely stay here again.

The property was very close to the bus stop, Royal Hawaiian Center, walking distance to International Village and the beach each self. Lots of food places/ options nearby. The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs whether it's new towels or refilling the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel.
