The rooms could seriously use an update, especially the bathroom and carpeting. Some of the light fixtures didn’t work either. Cleanliness was not terrible and it was conveniently located, but I doubt I’d stay here again. Staff was at least friendly and helpful.

The Oasis is good for a one night stay. It’s not the cleanest. The carpet was moist from the humidity and there was hair in the shower. We got a room upgrade to a “club suite” but it was just a slightly bigger room. I love how it’s an open concept in the lobby but that also means that when it rains, it gets wet inside. The breakfast was just cereal and some bread but at least it’s free so you can grab it quickly if you’re in a rush. The service was good. Everyone was very nice there. Overall, 3 stars because we stayed at some other places that were just better.

We thought this was a very nice hotel for the price. The staff was especially nice and helpful giving us a wonderful map. It is close enough to walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It is an older hotel and not recently updated, but it was very clean.

It’s a modest hotel but has everything we were looking for: balcony,swimming pool,breakfast and close to Waikīkī! The staff was friendly and helpful too.

Upgrade Needed

This was my second year here. They really need to upgrade the key system. Room key cards will rarely work, and this is a serious common problem faced by most customers. They just keep telling you "keep them away from your phones, it interferes" as if this is some new technology that's finicky. Even if you tried them as soon as they're handed to you, they fail to work on the first try, so much so that the staff seems to have a memorized script on what to say when it happens (again, it's my second time here). Seems small but it's really annoying when you're trying to get into your room in a hurry or are just tired after a long day.

Generally a decent hotel. No issues during my stay. Good location. Shopping, food, the beach all walking distance from the hotel. A couple of things to note, the pillows in my room were flat. I'm not sure if it's that way in other rooms as well. Also, there was only one elevator for my tower. At times there was a wait which is not ideal when one is in a rush, and they do not have stairway access all the way to the ground floor except for the emergency exit but one couldn't go out that way so as not to trigger the emergency alarm.

We really liked how it was located at the center of Waikiki where we could walk everywhere. The staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and have a balcony if you would like to sit out and get some fresh air as well. Loved our experience at the hotel!
