Our experience at this property was very disappointing and we ended our stay early due to multiple serious issues.When we arrived, the bedding appeared dirty and several appliances were not functioning properly. We also discovered that the smoke detectors were not functional, which was extremely concerning from a basic safety standpoint.During our stay there was a power outage, which created significant safety and accessibility problems for our family. Because there was no backup power or emergency lighting, I could not use my mobility device and my brother could not run his CPAP machine overnight.The owner did not attempt to provide any emergency lighting or alternative power options, and we were left without updates during the outage. When we asked if any external power sources or lighting could be provided, we were simply told no. During this time the freezer thawed and leaked water onto the floor, which caused my mother to slip.Due to these conditions we had no choice but to leave early, even though we had reserved the property for 7 nights.We attempted to resolve the situation directly with the owner, but they ultimately refused to fully rectify the situation and only refunded about 60% of what was owed for the unused nights. Given the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues we encountered, this was extremely disappointing.Future guests should carefully consider these concerns before booking.
