While it has a certain charm and is located a short walk to the beach, it’s badly in need of some basic maintenance. Dripping taps and toilet, torn fly screens, bed super saggy and pillows in poor condition, generally not updated for decades. The aircon works fine, as long as you’re happy to have a jet engine running all night. The area is also quite noisy and the room does little to reduce that. There are, however, some great food options very close by, and staff were generally friendly and helpful. When they’re the cheapest option consider it for a couple of nights, but when others are competitive it doesn’t make any sense to stay here.

We cleaned our own room got towels empties our own trash and got more trash bags from the front desk, no parking, roaches in our bathroom was disappointing, very close to beach, food, and shopping centers

Terrible place to stay. Never ever again. No one should stay here. This place should be shut down. Booked 2 queen bed room. Didn’t receive that room type. Was given a room with a queen bed and a sofa bed. If using the sofa bed you couldn’t get to the bathroom. They gave us a different room and kept telling us it was an upgrade as it had 3 beds. This so called room being an upgrade didn’t have a toilet that worked. The toilet would flush and would over flow with poo water everywhere. This was not able to be fixed while we were there. Shower only provided cold water no hot water. Fun washing your hair with cold water. The manager gave us a room that we could use to go to the toilet but not as convenient as having a toilet in your room but a toilet none the less. The girl on the front desk just kept telling me it was an upgrade. I didn’t need an upgrade I just wanted the room I booked. So no I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone. Pay a few more $$$$ and get something nicer. Very noisy hotel and the restaurant under the rooms smelt bad.
